True Love Lasts Forever: Part 1
The First Spark
One rainy day, a red head and a blonde were looking for shelter from the rain. The red head saw a cave in the distance and told the blonde that they better stay there before the big storm hits. The blonde agreed and they both went to the cave. Once inside, the storm hit. The lightning flashed in their eyes and the rain poured in buckets. The blonde huddled in the corner of the cave. His name was Deidara. His hair was long and he wore it in a half ponytail. His eyes were bright blue, and he had mouths on both of his hands. His fingernails were a dark purple and almost black. He was wearing a black cloak with red cloud print, and a small brown bag on his hip filled with white clay. Deidara sat in the corner hugging his knees listening to the rain outside. The red head was siting next him. The red head was rotating his wrist and there was a small clinking noise that was made each time he rotated it. His name was Sasori. Sasori had short, red hair and his eyes were a dark gray. He was wearing the same cloak as Deidara and his finger hails were also a dark purple. Sasori then undid his cloak and let it pop open. Sasori was not human. His body, instead, was made off wood. He had a small door on the right side of his chest that was closed. On the left side of his chest, was a medium sized circle with his name inscribed in red. It pushed out a little and you could see other pushed up lines under the wood. The circle held his heart. “Damn…. Looks like were going to have to stay here till the storm stops…. What a waste of time.” said Sasori. Deidara said nothing. Instead, he raised his head to the ceiling of the cave and just looked up. Deidara’s eyes were misty and they looked tired. Sasori noticed and just sighed. “ You can sleep if you want to. We aren’t going to leave till tomorrow morning.” He said. Deidara looked at Sasori and nodded. He then leaned his head agents the wall of the cave and closed his eyes. After a few minutes, Deidara fell asleep. Sasori watched. Why do I have to get stuck with a guy like him. Sasori thought. If it were my choice I would use his body for one of my new puppets… I guess I’ll let him live for a bit longer… Sasori leaned his head agents the wall. The rain continued to fall harder and harder and the lightning got louder and brighter.
The day passed and the rain continued to fall. Deidara tossed and turned in his sleep. He moaned and talked in his sleep. Sasori was watching and making no move to help. He just sat, watched and tried to make sense of what Deidara was saying. With out even wanting to, Sasori reached over to Deidara and stroked his hair. His hand then froze. What am I doing! He thought. Sasori quickly retracted his hand placed it close to his body. He then touched his heart. What’s wrong with me… This feeling is so strange. Sasori looked at Deidara then back at his hand. Deidara continued to sleep as if nothing happened. Sasori made up his mind that he was not going to feel anything for Deidara. Then the lightning flashed and Sasori became distracted with the rain outside.
