Life is short, and today became the first day of the rest of her life.
She pushed back her hair, frowning slightly. Her heart was pouding hard in her chest, and it would only take a little more before she could swear it was ready to leap to her throat. She had a secret to keep. And she knew she couldn't tell anyone...
She didn't want them to worry. She'd rather die.
Die. Could her end be so near?
It was a few moments ago when she noticed the blood on the toilet seat. Was it hers? She already had her period a few weeks ago.. Impossible.. It couldn't come so soon.. could it?
Perhaps she had almoranas. the word certainly would explain stuff. But that too was impossible. She had made a quick check to her butt, after the sight of blood.
Calm down, her mind screamed, but she couldn't. What if she had cancer of some sort. Hemorrage? Internal Bleeding?
Calm down.
Calm down. Maybe she was imagining things.
But she'd be damned if she was imagining the blood that was mixing with the toilet water.
