So I was just randomly browsing the interwebs and I decided to come back to Gaia to check up on things. When I went to my subscribed threads, I noticed I had 4 new private messages and I was like "WTF?!" (especially since I was just at the site not more than 4 minutes ago @_@). Anywho, I go to my PMs and open the first one I received called "WHY HELLO THERE!!!" from a person called The Journal Wanderer. Again, I was like "wtf?" and opened it before reading this message:
"I am the Journal Traveler!! Pleased to meet ya!! I travel far and wide to the journals of Gaia users all over, check them out and randomly leave comments!! And if I like what I see, you can win up to 1,000 gold!! And guess what, Badboylover?? Yes, it's true!! You've been selected today!!
So then, let's take a look at your journal shall we?? 3nodding "
The other three messages were the comments he posted in my three journals: "Did You hear What They're Going To Do With Michael's Body?...", "Does This Count As LARPing?...", and "I Got Bored At Work......" After reading all of his comments, I got another PM titled "AWESOME!!!" saying:
"I very much enjoyed your journal, you lover of bad boys!! A wonderful stop on my tour, yes? You win 800 gold!!! Until next time! I'm off to wander to the next journal!!"
Am I the only one who has never heard of this guy before?! Not that I'm not happy to get free gold, but it was just. . .surprising. Also, I think he either messed up on his math or I missed something because he says "+200 gold" for every comment, yet he only made 3 comments. . .but I got 800 gold.
Wtf?
EDIT: He made a 4th comment in my entry "Typical Men...... ", but my PMs failed to tell me so xP
ANOTHER EDIT: *facepalms* It's someone I know...isn't it?
