Dear Journal,
Today was quite.. surprising, so to speak. So yeah, the ongoing war is going so well; we're suddenly short of a few points in comparison to the enemy. Speaking of which, I've been hearing a lot about 'spies' and 'moles' from S.I.N. amongst the B.O.O. community, though I'm pretty sure that these 'mules' aren't doing much harm, besides being a minor nuisance.
On the other hand, I'm starting to think that B.O.O. members aren't exactly great thinkers, in comparison our counterparts; they've been too busy trying to get people to follow them, and so on.. I don't really think they even bothered to know how to help their side, other than to just get everything up to speed just once, then leaving them at that. Of course, I do believe that most of them haven't really been paying attention; it's just another side game to distract them.
So anyway, I've been around in the forums for a bit, reading some 'strategies' and 'counter intelligence' (I can assure you, there isn't exactly much intelligence there) on how to win the war. Not exactly my cup of tea, considering I'm with a peace-loving bunch, but I'm a little worried about how our team is doing. I guess over the next few days, the war is going to escalate a lot further than any of us have ever imagined, since more and more of us Gaians seem to be signing up with either side.
Last night, I saw someone trying to sacrifice himself to help the Overseer, but he got spat out, and I'm not really sure where the guy managed to land himself in. There was also some girl who got hit by a splash from the clash of energy between our ballista and the whirlpool-looking thing. Fortunately, she survived, but she had that rather.. distant look in her eyes when some of her friends tried to snap her out of whatever trance she was in. One of these guys in town who turned to S.I.N. started trash-talking a group my fellow B.O.O. mates, and I could tell that he was just trying to rile us up. There was also this guy who kept on moaning that the end of days was upon us, though I'm pretty sure he's just some random attention-seeking idiot.
On other notes, there has been a lot of activity in Barton Town and other places; particularly the seemingly endless attacks in the forms of vampires, wisps and werewolves. Don't get me wrong, it's great to have them around, since they're also helping to thin the number of Animated and such, but I guess we would be fools to think that the enemy of my enemy is my friend. We've been attacked countless times ourselves, though I'm quite thankful that with the crowds I'm hanging around with these days, beating them back has been a piece of cake.
On a final financial note, there was this moron who thought that she could get a refund through threats and insults against me. I'm pretty sure that the proper authorities will get the message loud and clear through that thick skull sooner or later. Also, I was quite surprised, since beating back those Halloween monsters (I guess it's pretty safe to call them that, since they're related to the current season, I guess..), I've been able to make about 20,000 gold alone. I sure wish this could have gone on and on for a few more months.
We can only wait quietly as we watch our backs from both fronts - the war, along with defending Barton Town and the surrounding areas. With any luck, we won't get shot in the back, or worse. Then again, I don't think I even want to know.
