Entry #4: Fire And Farts Are Our Enemies

Dear Journal,

The war between B.O.O. and S.I.N. is still on-going, and it looks like we're trailing by only a couple of points today! I'd say that would count for something, though the moral crushing experience through the loss of our 1500+ point lead still weighs quite heavily on the minds of some. Anyway, some good news today.Seems like a vast number of S.I.N. members really dislike those who chose to side with B.O.O., particularly those who just started helping to deal with the Animated.

Nowadays, it's quite a bother to even listen to anyone on our cults' forums, because all we ever hear about are the new guys screaming their lungs out for people to follow them (with an added dash of pre-victorious enthusiasm, which I'm pretty sure is rather short-lived), and with some others worrying too much about 'spies' and 'moles', which again, is becoming quite ridiculous, in my opinion. They haven't really had a taste of what the frontlines have to offer, so I guess it's only a matter of time until they learn. I know I did, the hard way no less.

Alright, enough talking about those idiots. On other fronts, it appears that most of these new guys helping around with the Animated.. with Halloween going on and such, they seem to be quite overwhelmed by what they see around Barton Town. So I took it upon myself (with a few others who also decided to do the same, Overseer be praised) to help out these new people and point them in the right direction. Of course, as in any group, there are those few strays with their "Oh shut up, I'm too good to follow you morons", and end up getting saved by the guards and other passers-by. Ah well, nothing we can do to teach them, since they don't really want us to assist them.. I guess it all boils down to pride.

Alright, I think I'm getting the hang of these rings nowadays. Been grabbing a lot of these Charge Orbs and the like, and I've almost hit the maxed out charge for all my rings. Good news: I can deal with almost anything around. The bad news: I've still got a long way to go before I can even think about showing off my rings, which I'm pretty sure that some of them are quite.. charming while showing them off. Particularly, I'm a little surprised that some of these guys around didn't even bother going out into the field and doing it the old-fashioned way (which most of us did, just so to speak, because heck, this also applies in business, no?).

Just yesterday, I saw this guy try to cast Fire Rain on a group of Kokeshi Dolls, but that idiot ended up casting it too close to himself. Not only did he end up with a lot of nasty bruises from the fans, he was running around and screaming that his hair was on fire. Thank goodness someone was decent enough to throw some Water Balloons at him, though I do believe the guy was seen scrounging the Marketplace for a wig later on. There was also this girl who was trying to pick up some loot items from some fluffs in the Zen Gardens, but this really big (And I mean, HUGE!) fluff came and bumped (looked more like it tried to hump her leg to death or farted on her, if you asked me) into her. Your guess is as good as mine, but the girl got the message and ran screaming all the way back to Barton. *Ahem*

On a final note, some sellers are really nice on the forums. It makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside when they actually thanked me for purchasing from their store. smile Oh, and I found an Angel Imp Plushie on the Marketplace today, and it was just too cute to pass up. Plus, it went well with my B.O.O. costume, so I thought, what the heck. Blew off around 17,000 gold, though I think it was well spent. Better than having been ripped off 10,000 gold last week just because I forgot that Ian and Rufus sold it for cheaper. Oh well, lesson learnt. But from experience (I do believe that's what most guys my age would call their mista- I mean experiences), also comes great opportunities - found this little hat that costs over 100,000 gold, but I filched one for only 20,000. Hope I can sell it off for that big profit. biggrin

Hmm, time to go take another look-see at the ballista, just to make sure that it didn't fall apart yet. The war is still on-going, and things are looking a lot better than yesterday. I'm just waiting for our mates to realize that this war isn't going to win itself, and hope they get off their lazy arses to help out. Time will tell, time will tell.
