The cold morning had passed and the villagers had Axl in a corner. It seemed only one of them was happy he was in the village.
" Why did you come back?!"
"Your kinds not welcome here!"
"Get out of here you horrid creature."
All the villagers looked at him in disgust and one stood through the crowd most of all. The Elder of the village strode up with a pure look of hatred and disgust.
"Axl Blade, i banished you from this village two weeks ago, why are we cursed with your disgusting demon mug again?"
"I just saved your daughter you old coot gimme a break!"
"For all we know that was his demon friend"
"Ya."
"Burn him now."
"Kill the demon."
Axl knew his time in the village was short. He looked at Janine and rubbed her hair softly.
"Have a good life little one" and with that Axl jumped unto a rooftop and sprang away running as fast as he could away from the village. He ran to the only place around he liked to stay, the giant mountain known as the snowy blades. He ran to them and began his ascent up them to a cave he had made near the base of the mountain. He reached it and found all his stuff still the same as he had left it this morning. The only change was his fire was now a pile of hot embers, he quickly remedied this by putting a few logs on the fire. He curled up into his bed and fell asleep quite quickly. His sleep wasn't long though he was rudely awoken by the sounds of fighting not far from his cave.
"Don't tell me they followed me here." Axl silently moved from his bed to the front of his cave he looked over the little embankment he had made to conceal the entrance from far away. Outside his cave he saw a girl dressed in a white and red kimono like clothing and icy blue hair, running from a pack of Salin.
"Strange," Axl moved closer," Salin are supposed to be loners, they never fight in packs they are too greedy."
The girl rose a finger at the Salin and drew a symbol in the air, it glowed a faint red and white light," Faia," the girl whispered. The symbol then came together and a fireball crashed into a Salin's head dropping it instantly. The other Salin however jumped on her pinning her to the ground. One took a swing at her but she rolled a little causing it to slash down the back of her kimono ripping it open. She looked up and saw one of the others raising a claw to her. She closed her eyes but quickly opened them when she heard the Salin's screams. She looked over and saw Axl on its shoulder holding on to its now severed arm.
" C'mon boys this clearly isn't a fair fight how bout you all take me ON!"
With that last word he sprung of the injured Salin and crashed both of his feet into another Salin, launching the new Salin away and springing him back towards the injured Salin.
He drove his knee hard into the injured Salin's abdomen, causing it to arch over. Axl swung his blade up and cut it through at the waist.
"One down, four to go" Axl ran towards a new Salin and thrust his fist hard into its jaw, lifting it off the ground a few inches before Axl drove it back into the ground with a solid swing of his sword through its whole body. He swung the blood from his sword and turned just in time to see a Salin that had snuck up on him turn to ash from a large fireball from the girl. He turned to the two other Salins left and lifted his sword into the air.
"Retsu Kiba, " he whispered," Cold Fang." he brought his blade down and it let out a horrendous amount of water into the air which immediately froze into shards of ice and pierced the two Salins Dropping them dead instantly.
Axl turned to the girl who was slowly backing away from him.
"don't worry miss, im not going to hurt you."
"that is what they all say," she sneered to him.
"Who say?"
"you demons who are after me."
Axl put his sword away," I'm not here to hurt you miss, i just saw the battle from my cave and decided to help."
"Cave?... so you live around here."
" You could say that, come to my cave you should get some rest, you look beat."
She slowly walked towards him and her kimono started to fall as she did. she hurridly grabbed it and held it against her chest and looked at Axl.
" I can uh fix that too." Axl said blushing his head off," names Axl."
" Gekkou...."
"Pretty name," Axl said and led her up the mountainside.
