I texted Mike on Tuesday of this week, since I hadn’t heard anything from him since we hung out. He texted back, but hours later. He only replied to me twice, and they were far between, so I was a little nervous about that, but that’s not too unusual for him, so I was just glad he texted back. Thankfully, he texted me the next day (on Wednesday) and we talked for a while (well, I don’t know if a normal person would classify it as “a while,” but it was more than he’s been texting lately). He asked when I was coming over, and I told him whenever he wanted but he just said “ok, cool.” I was hoping he would actually make a concrete offer for me to come over, but I guess I’m glad he said that. I’m hoping that’s a good sign. But then again, he asked when we were hanging out a few days after I gave him my number, and then he didn’t contact me for two weeks. As it is, we didn’t even hang out until like two months after I gave him my number and we had started talking. So it’s very possible that he won’t want to hang out again for another two months. I want to hold out hope, but you just never know with him. I really hope he invites me over soon though, because I want to get to know him better, and I could really use the distraction right now.

I know charting down practically every little development on the Mike front seems trivial, but when I write it down, it helps get it off my mind. This way I can also look back if I ever want to and remember how things progressed.
