I cannot believe I lost...
Tina sat on the deck of their ship, staring down at the busy town of Barton. Aussa sluggishly makes her way toward Tina, resting her hand on her distant sister's shoulder.
Well...At least it was one of the better picks, right?
Tina's glare made Aussa jump and withdraw her hand.
Onima bounced over, awkwardly breaking the silence between them as she pounced and clung to Tina.
I think our guide is cute!
Cute she says.
Zee came out of the cabin of the air ship, grinning as Zapook was yawning and following her.
Aussa stared at Zapook before speaking up.
Um...Who's driving?
Our gracious guide. Turns out he has experience with this crap prior to offering himself out as a guide to voyaging Gaians. Speaking of our guide, we didn't have much in the ways of money, so we didn't buy any extra food, and only got supplies.
Excuse me!? We have no food?!
We have little food. I figured we could stop and 'pick up' something to eat. You can do that right?
Yeah...yeah... I'll get something to drag back to this ship later.
There was another long silence before one thought caused Onima to speak up again.
What's the name of this ship?
...Huh. Actually, I never got around to naming it. I got busy with gathering things together for the trip...and after while, just didn't bother.
Can I name it?! Please!?
What did you want to name it, Onima?
Super Happy Flying Fluffykins!
...Can I please just please just throw her in the hold with the rest of the food?
Sister-dear, are you not the captain? Why not give this vessel a name yourself?
Really?
And none of that Darkworld Doomship nonsense, got it?
Neko No Seika.
...Is that Japanese?
God Bless you?
No you idiot... Neko No Seika.
We're not naming the ship that. No.
Neko No Seika.
Um...Zee? Isn't that the name of your gummi ship from Kingdom Hear-
NEKO NO SEIKA!
Fine! We'll name it that!
Thank you.
Zapook leaned toward Aussa and nudged her.
Neko No Seika?
Something about cats on fire...I don't know.
The conversation was cut short by the ship jolting awake. With a roar, it drifts upwards and starts to float away from the busy town of Barton. The five of them eagerly watch over the side of the ship as it soars over the colorful trees below. As Barton began to shrink into a speck in the distance, the ship lowered itself into the trees, touching ground in the plush grass of a large clearing. Before the ship even comes to a complete stop, Zee jumps the side of it, falling several stories before landing on all four and tearing into the forest like a large feral cat.
Too much energy in that one...
You know Zee, she's probably just hungry. Anyways, I'm gonna head below deck. Make sure the inner workings are in tip top shape. Hey Onima. I could use a hand.
Onima was staring up, intently watching the black moth that was circling her head. The snapping of Zapook's fingers recaptured her attention.
Onima! Come!
With a smile, she skipped behind Zapook as they both headed into the cabin and down the stairs.
Well...I guess I could always check our inventory...there's several forts around this forest. I could make a list of things we need or forgot to bring.
You do that, sweetheart.
Aussa made her way to the hold, leaving Tina out on the deck by herself. Out of boredom, Tina grabbed a broom and began to tidy up the deck in an effort of making herself feel useful, all the while watching the trees sway in the late summer breeze. She began drifting off into her own daydream; with flowers waving in a cheery manner around her, twirling around in rays arms as they dance in the summer lit fields, with soft music echoing around her, barely able to compete with the sounds of her own purring.
Are you Ok my dear...?
Oh, dear-heart... I could not be happier...
Dear-heart?
Tina's eyes opened her eyes as the image of Ray slowly melted away to reveal another long haired man staring back at her. Rays darker skin replaced by pale skin, and his dark eyes faded into pale grays ones that rival a cat's. She than realized she was in the arms of their guide, Louie. The blush on her face was so great, it showed through her white fur as she pushed herself away from him.
I am so sorry! I was cleaning! And I was watching the trees! ...I was thinking of my significant other. My sincerest apologies for my behavior...
Please! It's nothing. Really. I was just checking on your and your family while we were taking our first rest. This is the first time I've flown with a crew consisting solely of females.
I hope we will not be too much trouble for you. Aussa's very quiet. Zapook should be very helpful. Zee is reliable in a situation like this. We must watch her though and keep her separate from the rabbit girl.
Understandable. You're friend informed me of a fort near here we could stop at. it's about....150 miles off?
That must have been Aussa. She is an intelligent one.
START THE SHIP!!
Startled by the sudden outburst, Louie and Tina peered over the side of the ship, only to see Zee climbing the side of it, dragging the bodies of two elk and several grunnies with her.
What did you do?!
I got a little too close to another airship's hunting party!
Please do not tell me you pilfered from another ship!
No, I didn't! But they're guide is not too happy about my choice of prey!
A distorted roar came from the trees as Carl barreled out of them, antlers pointed straight at Zee and the side of their ship. With eyes wide, Louie ran back into the cabin, as the ship groaned awake and stated to rise once more. Zee had just made it to the deck, dropping the one ore two grunnies on her climb up as she collapsed to the floor, trying to catch her breath. Carl leaped and slammed into the side of their ship hard enough to rock it, but didn't do any major damage as it drifts out of his reach and began cruising over the forest once more.
...Well, sister-dear. Are you not happy that you lost our little drawing earlier?
I would...Rather...Face a whole...Pack of f#%king wolves...Than deal with...Him ever...Again...
