-What I Have Done- [Hailing from an ancient line of witches and mages, Nicolai grew up in the infamous Boggshearth Village, anyone in Gwendolen knows that whether your intentions be for good or for evil, if you're looking to score a love potion or mysteriously have someone vanish, Boggshearth Village is the place to go. Riddled with necromancers, witches, warlocks and anyone involved in dark or light magical arts, it's renowned for the ominous aura that stretches out around the village, people passing on nearby roads are said to feel chills up their spine as they pass near the village.
It's located near the Bogg Swamp and just south of the Black Sea. Nix's family is infamous in this village, the secrets riddled within her bloodline cause many witches and wizards to seek out the wisdom of her Grandmother the High Witch Anelle. Nix was taught the ways of magick by her Grandmother and she was taught well, aside from her Grandmother she is the most gifted witch in all of Boggshearth, possibly Gwendolen. When Nix was a child, people from a neighboring Port City felt uneasy being so close to the dark village of Boggshearth and one night they decided to burn it down and that night they raided Boggshearth, burning homes and tying witches and warlocks to posts to burn alive, the entire village nearly went down.
That night Nix watched her mother burn alive before her and at the tender age of 5 she conjured up the biggest storm Gwendolen had ever seen, putting out the fires. It was too late, her parents were dead. Suddenly Nix's world went dark as she felt the most excruciating pain hit the back of her head, she was knocked out by one of the raiders, he burned out her eyes and she awoke the next morning in her grandmother's arms with the smell of burnt flesh and her world was dark, she could no longer see. It has been years since the attack and the village is now mostly back as it was and Nix is catching a bit of wanderlust to travel the world.]
