Bio:Lord Eleric became one of the youngest jousting champions in the country and won many tournaments, earning him a great deal of money and respect from the kingdom. The king noticed him and he became a sensation in Locksley, women began to swoon as he walked by and boys wore the color of his knight's tabard. Lord Eleric had everything, finally his family was no longer shamed, he had risen to be one of the richest lords in the land and admired friend of the king, by the time he was 21 he had everything he could have ever dreamed of having, except for one thing. Through the countless women that had thrown themselves at him and the admiration of hundreds of people, his heart had never felt love for any woman.

He felt the pressure to get married from all sides, it was the proper thing to do after all. He could not bring himself to marry, His mother would chatter away in his ear about finding a suitable woman of high station to marry, perhaps even someone of higher rank. His mother was always looking for ways to raise their station, but he would not marry for any other reason other than love. His father would constantly be talking about his responsibilities as a man to set an example for his younger brother's. Eleric had been close a few times, he had made it to the altar once and promptly left. His heart was cold, he felt nothing and despite the prodding from his family, he remained single, his heart shivering from it's own frigidness.

It wasn't an uncommon sight to see the young nobleman walking along the shores of the small island's beach, looking out across the short distance to the mainland. His gaze was always calm as the sea before a storm, contemplative as if he were looking for something or someone, someone he hadn't met yet. He knew he would find her, a woman he could love, he just didn't know how long it would take, but he was a patient man....

A year later a fire swept through the castle in the cove, Lord Eleric managed to carry out his youngest brother and alert most of his family. While he was running just behind his mother a beam fell crushing him, the fire from the beam catching on his clothes and burning as he watched some of his family escape the flames. All of Locksley felt that tragic day, they stood on the shores of Locksley watching the castle out in the cove light up in the night sky, the flames licking the dark horizon and all they could do was watch, the next day the news spread of the young Lord's death and the entire town mourned at the loss.

Months later his mother and father relocated to their second castle in the forests of Locksley, saying that they could not bear to live in the same castle. Every step they took they felt watched, even if it was a calming protective feeling, it still rose the hairs on the backs of their necks. His brother's would find fresh footprints in the sand where Eleric used to walk on the beach. Strange noises could be heard throughout the castle, his family and shortly after that the entire town of Locksley believed that Cove Castle was haunted. Throughout the next four years tragedy struck the Gisborne family without pause, they lost every one of their sons to some horrid accident or another and from then on they believed that Cove Castle is cursed and haunted. Every night footsteps of their oldest son appear on the beach, they say that his soul will not rest until he finds her.
Others: Since he died in a fire and being crushed, his spirit absorbed the energy of the fire and he is now able to control certain aspects of fire and he can crush things with telekinesis. In this roleplay whatever you died of, your spirit can absorb the energy of it in the afterlife...it doesn't always happen, but sometimes it does.
What Kingdom are you from?: Village of Locksley, Cove Castle

Quote:
Speckles of dust danced through the fading rays of light raining through the partly open window of the attic. Ghostly drapes of off white fabric hung lightly upon various objects and furniture. The shape of a knight's armor hid beneath one white sheet and a jousting shaft lay at the armors feet. Drapes hung over small dressers and couches, some mannequins for the previous mistress of the houses sewing projects, she was quite the fashionista and made many of her own clothes. Billows of dust curled through the air as a sheet was invisibly pulled from the smooth form of an old grand piano, the dust settled softly upon the ivory keys as the sheet floated to the floor.

A small creak was heard as the piano's small stool seemed to take on some mysterious weight, within a moment one sharp note rang out, followed by another and suddenly exploding into a beautiful sonata. The keys seemed to move of their own accord, playing wildly...a sound that would catch a heartbeat, if you had one. Slowly a pair of rough hands became visible, fingertips scarred from many jousting tournaments, it was amazing how something so rough could create a sound so passionate, so delicate and yet here it was. His hands were followed by a pair of muscled arms, thick from the hard years of manual labor and sacrifice to provide for his family.

A moment more and a toned bare chest was revealed, a small ray of light flooded near as the window was pushed open by a passing breeze, it seemed to just barely gleam over what looked to be a thin membrane of celestial glowing skin. The clear muscles in his abdomen rippled like ocean waves as he leaned further over to let his fingers slide further down the keyboard, slowly his chest gave way to a strong neck, followed by a face of inexplicable rugged, handsomeness. Strands of dark hair seemed to just barely touch his skin, floating and falling as if his hair was suspended in water. His eyes were full of a soft sorrow, contradictory to the slight smirk tugging at his lips. The song evolved into a slow mesmerizing melodic tune, carrying with it a melancholy mood after a few short measures the song ended on an abrupt cheerful note.

Eleric glanced around the attic, getting up from the stool, his feet finally became visible as he took a step towards his old jousting armor. He looked down at the jousting pole that was lying at the feet of the armor and smiled, the handiwork was excellent, but he would expect no less from his brother, he was an excellent weapon smith, perhaps the best in all of Locksley or the world. Eleric remembered the many tournaments he had won with that jousting pole, he remembered when this house was a more cheery place. Shaking the thoughts from his head he walked towards the open window and let his piercing gray eyes scan the sea, they looked like the calm before the storm....as if to look inside his eyes was like looking within the eye of a storm, once glance could spin your world around and shake it like a hurricane, but as long as you stared into those eyes....you would feel comfort.

Eleric's gaze caught something of interest and he grinned as he saw just how many women were piling onto the shores. He knew the house was bought from his parents, he just didn't know when the newcomers would be moving in. He knew Fabron would not like this, at all....Eleric took one last nostalgic look at his jousting armor and slowly his body faded into the escaping light.
