Yet you did not have the courage to reach out and grab it?
For days post you did despise,
Thynself for not having the sheer grit?
That happened to I recently,
Oh I regret it though.
I declined out of sheer decency,
I wish it was not so.
For the opportunity I had, had been a dream for long,
It was that same, the same of that dirty little song.
Though I turned it away, avast I was wrong,
I had the chance, to lay myself where I belong.
Perhaps I perch myself too highly,
On this podeum of life,
Like an ornate little piece, perhaps I act too shyly,
Alas, I tell thee of my regret, this reminiscence existant of my strife.
