*sigh* I just got back from the Ymca. I know. I'm a geek. But I didn't want to go Or atleast not at first. ^-^ Let me tell you my sweet little story.
So I got home from school today. I was in a crappy mood. One of those days when you didn't get enough sleep and you're so irritable you're mad at the world more than a normal Teenager would... and that's alot of hate. I lied down on the couch and told my mother the key points of my day as I always do. She listened as usual while flipping through a magazine. It was after I had finished my rant I was informed that I would be taking my first visit to the Ymca with my father and youngest brother, Sean. I literally fell off the couch in depression. I hate the Y. The only time I ever enjoyed it is when I can workout. I can't find my certificate that will allow me in and I can't go swimming because of my period. I would have NOTHING to do. Life sucks, ne?
Dad came home from work right around the time sean came home from playing at Zachary's house. We hate dinner and because I had a crappy day mom made us fried rice. Fried rice is sort of a comfort food for me. It's what I eat besides Oreos when i'm depressed.
I complained to my father that I would have nothing to do but he insisted that I come with them because I never get out of the house anymore. This is true. Atleast it keeps me out of trouble. I'm at home all the time so nothing bad can happen. I don't do marijuana. I don't do pot. I don't do crack. I don't do speed. I do myspace. Tom is my antidrug.
Not even an hour after dinner we were off in the minivan. I made sure I brought a book along so atleast I could get some of my independant reading project done for Honors English. Immediatly when I entered I spotted one of the cutest guys I had ever seen. What was even cooler was that he was one of the quiet guys that sat hung out with my group after school. Suddenly my night got better. I pretended not to notice him and we went to the front desk. My dad asked for sean's new ID card and he wanted me to get my picture taken for mine. ugh... damn it. That guy just happens to be the one sitting at the desk where the pictures were being taken. I once again pretend not to care. I got my picture taken and thank goodness he wasn't watching when I had my cheesie I-hate-my-life smile.
Both Sean and Dad begged me to go play basketball with them but I wasn't in the mood to school them at their own game and get all sweaty. So I sat down at the couch near the desk the guy was sitting at. I read a couple chapters of my book and I couldn't stop myself from looking at him. I finally made myself go up and talk to him. I leaned up against the counter and gave him a smile. "Hi! I've seen you from school before. I'm Terra. What's you're name?" "oh! You're Terra! Hi. I'm keith." We didn't have a great conversation right off the bat. He's really shy or just really quiet. I finally got so bored I started talking to myself. This man passed and I said outloud as he went out the door "he has a big nose." Keith started laughing. I laughed too. "it's true!" "yeah, kind of." Silence continued. I ended up helping him with the towels he was folding. He had to put towels up on the counter for people who were just entering and going to work out. And lady pasted by and as she entered the gym I couldn't help but say "she looked like a fish." "what?" "nothing! nothing..." "did you just say she looks like a fish?" "lol yeah. Sorry." "no. You have such an imagination. I love it." SCORE FOR THE HOME TEAM!!! WOOT WOOT!
We continued to chat and I found out he doesn't work there but we doing community service there. He did some stuff but he was so quiet all I heard was drug use. He doesn't seem like the kind of guy that would be doing drugs. He seems really sweet. I can't wait to see him tomorrow. Unfortunatly I had to leave but he goes to my school so i'll obviously see him. ^-^ Can't wait!!!! He even gave me a hug when I left. well... I asked for it but still! *sigh* Life is good...
