I can't stand girls who think that guys and girls can't be friends.

I just had an awesome day. Me and my family went to the zoo and then out to eat. I had a much needed day away from my house. The second we get back home my mother sees her boyfriend playing cards with another woman at work. She automatically gets all POed, and believes that he's screwing this chick. In her opinion, he's playing cards with her when he could be at home with my mother. I tried telling her that its not wrong for him to play cards with another woman but no, my mother was raised to think every time a man just simply looks in another woman's direction it means he likes her.

I've grown up hanging out with mostly guys and, out of all the guys I've been friends with, I've dated maybe three of them. I know that we can be friends and not have any sexual feelings towards each other just because we're the opposite gender. It really irritates the crap out of me when I encounter women who expect guys to only be friends with guys. Do they really think that once a guy gets a girlfriend he's going to tell all his chick friends that he can't talk to them anymore? So what, the man is playing cards with another woman. That proves nothing! Open your mind. There's a bigger world out there beyond High School. I find it sad when kids are more mature than their parents.

Also if he's texting another woman, that doesn't prove anything either, unless the texts say something like "Oh, Baby. I had so much fun in bed with you last night."
