Well, I'm currently working on a book called "13"
its about 13 7th grade students (to be more specific, me and my friends) who are trying to live semi normal lives, until one fateful day.

Eons ago, demons invaded earth from their long sleep, that was supposed to be eternal. They wanted earth for themselves, but the humans said no. Grand rulers of each speceies signed a treaty with a promise. Grand ruler of humans promised once he died he'd let the demons wish off of his soul. He died, and they couldn't find his soul in the demons half of earth. They searched the humans, and the humans became annoyed.After the poor treatment of some prisoners that escaped, a war exploded once more, and, then, 13 children with human and demon parents were born. They were hung after trying to stop demons, but vowed that they would inhabit others and stop demons if they started a world war once again.

As it turns out, me and my friends become the "guardians" and must stop the demons from invading.
