Alive & Well (Hopelessness Ends)

A firm grip upon the struggle
A hellish toil I hope to resolve
An ambition that makes me more than mortal
A heavenly call to restore it all
Leave a hallow space to see
Lean upon your own swift strength
Learn to vacate misery
Land precise the seed of bravery

In time I bring myself around
Vivid dreams of timeless things
End the rule of tainted crowns
&Well endow the fruitful wings

Hanging up ways of old
Oppression is my faint excuse
position a stance, place a foothold
Embrace the fight I cannot lose
Lashes, Scars, and Broken bones
Employ a lust to deny my strength
Solace is surrendered at the cost of survival
So eager to end the war within me

Nearing the brink of this glorious battle
Every drop of blood and sweat
should count and not be spilled in vain
so sweet victory will be met

Erase the pain that wounds this life
Never cease to release my blade
Digest the taste it takes to make
Solace return to its rightful place
