I am a pit stop
in a deserted place
between the shadowed path of depression and desperation
and the illuminated road to happiness
they come to me
those very desprate souls
and i patch up the hole in their hearts
Now that you are fixed and anew
leave me behind
a little more empty inside
and go on to that better future
where what you really want
is awaiting you in the sunset
And here I shall stand
Alone as I always have
awaiting the next broken heart



I am trash
sometimes people mistake me for useful
but after while
Of seeing how worthless I truly am
they huddle together
their nose's scrunched up
at the sight of my heart
and the smell of my soul
and finally that night
They got rid of the trash
they did what was right


I am torn
ragged
dirty
ripped
shredded
like the clothes
upon the back of the homeless
indeed I am
And ironically enough
the homeless soon will shed
these ragged clothes
because even someone with nothing
can find better trash


I am blind
a fool
who thought they could see
even if not clearly
but was blindfolded
as i saw a grey place
a sad place become happy again
I danced
I sang
I snuggled
talking words light as clouds
like farmers praising the end of a drought
but I am blind
and what I failed to see
was that I danced alone


And they shall come
and read these words
waves of emotions
and feel pity, disgust, or indifference
Every baby cries
let it learn to shut up
and the group
all together might welcome the baby
if she is silent
don't be stupid little child
you must remember your place
you are simply among them
no longer one of them
So walk quietly and learn
your untold lesson
You must not have been trying
(I wasn't?)
You did not do your job
(job? please tell me!)
Maybe if you continue on alone long enough
the silent echo's of your desperate please
will whisper the all answers
