The name makes me freeze,"That's impossible. I....killed him years ago."
Nero,"It's true. I saw him. It wasn't long, but he passed by me. I was on my way to meet with Kyrie. He looked just like you, except his hair was slicked back. He was wearing a long blue coat. The streets were empty when I saw him, because it was at night. He looked injured though. I was going to help, but he was gone before I got to him."
Trish,"There have been sightings of a man in blue possessing demonic powers all over the city."
I take a few seconds to process all of this,"What has he done? For you to find out about it, they were more than just sightings. What has he done?"
Everyone stays silent. I get up and slam my hands on the table,"I said what did he do?!"
Trish,"Don't worry about it right now...You can't blame yourself..."
I cut her off before she can finish,"I said what did he do godd*** it!"
There's another pause until Lady speaks up,"There have been deaths through out the city. They're random killings."
I look at my table and close my eyes,"Where has he been seen?"
Trish,"All over the city. He could be anywhere."
"No, he's not one to make an appearance unless he has a reason to. He'll stay hidden. We'll check the alleys first, then any abandoned buildings."
I look up,"Split into two teams. Nero and Lady, I'll take Trish."
Nero,"Alright, what if we find him?"
Lady,"Trish and I have phones, we can contact each other."
Nero,"Since when?"
Lady,"Come on, let's move. We can take the east side of the city."
I nod and grab my jacket. I put it on as I walk. Lady and Nero go one way, arguing, while Trish and I take to the first alley in our path.
Trish,"Are you alright?"
"I'm fine....I'm just tired of running after him...You know, I can't believe that after everything the first thing he does is go back to killing! Why?! Uh, I could never understand him, he just....I don't even know why I'm looking for him now...."
Trish grabs my hand,"I know. He's your brother no matter what he does, that's why you can't let this go. You love him whether you'll admit it or not."
I hold her hand,"Loves a strong word....."
