We search all day and find nothing. There's no word from Lady either. Finding him seems impossible at this point, until we come to an alley. Theirs a trace of blood, on the wall and the ground. It leads into a building that's abandoned. It use to be an old bar until it was taken over by demons. After I whipped those out, nothing ever re-started there. I open the door. The blood trail leads into another room. Most of the furniture in this place is gone, the rest is piled in a corner. I hesitate to open the next door, but open it slowly when I do. The furniture is out of here too, mostly. Some chairs are still here, but in the corner I find him. Laying in a pool of blood, he jsut lyes there. He is motionless as I run to him. I put one hand on his arm, which is against his stomach, and the other on his face,"Vergil, wake up!"
I shake him softly, and his eyes open. In a weak, soft voice he mumbles,"Dante?"
"I'm here, just stay awake."
I move his arm and see the blood. It's stained his shirt and jacket, and it's not stopping. Why isn't he healing? I have to get him back to the my place,"Trish, call Lady. We're going back to my place now."
Trish nods and follows, holding the door open. I pick up Vergil, who is again unconcious.
