The 21st Century
In century of 2000, it was predicted that technology would advance twice as fast as it did in the 1900s. That prediction was accurate. However, it advanced faster than expected. In year 2020, a company named Hydro-Gravon managed to create the worlds first Anti-Gravity technology... The first,"Hover Car." The key to this success was due to an element that had yet to be disovered. It was named Gravon. This metal is said to be THE rarest metal on Earth due to its remarkable property. Depending on the current you put into the metal you can decrease or increase the mass anything around it, depending on how much electricity or power is pumped into the current. So in the case of a hover car, all you had to do is add a negative current to the metal and the car will be literally be light enough to float. To get movement all you simply had to do was add simple thrusters to the rear of the car where the exhaust pipes would've been and for brakes you just added four pads of Gravon effected metals that grow heavier to slow the movement of the car without effecting the entire car when the core Gravon is lifting the car up.
Surprisingly, this was extremely cheap to create and even better was the fact that it takes relatively small amounts of Gravon to do what you want. This allowed for mass distribution and eventually lead to the USA to be independent from the worlds need for oil. Cars were willingly traded in for these safer, faster, and cheaper vehicles. The cars that were oil-dependent were given to the government and stripped for parts, metals, and many other things. However, they were also some models that were exported in large amounts to any country who needed decent vehicles for cheap.
The USA was swiftly starting to become an independent nation in sense of complete Self Sufficiency . The USA halted all the purchases of oil and turned to the oil drilled in their own soil as means of export... With more going out than being taken in, their wealth was growing rapidly. This wasn't the last of it though. Gravon allowed for taller structures to be created, safer buildings, and much more. This allowed the "Futurization Age" of America to Occur.
Despite the relatively small amount of Gravon there was in the discovered deposit, experts had estimated that since so little was needed to create these seemingly heavier or weightless objects, that it could be used to give a every human in the world a Hover-car and not even half of it would be used. This was good... For America. The reason was that the USA happened to be sitting on the only source of it in the world as it was the direct deposit of a meteorite. This means that the USA was the deadliest and most advanced country out there. Knowing this, they made it illegal to export any Gravon or anything Gravon based. Many countries saw this as unjust, but no one wanted to stand up against the country with extreme superior firepower... Not even nukes could compare to what the Americans could do.
With America dropping its imports of oil from the world, many countries felt the economic hardships hit... The Middle East soon grew even more tense than usual... With every country feeling the weight of their wallet's lessen with each passing month, they began to eye each other's oil supplies and were edging towards a war to control ALL the oil in the Middle East and create a monopoly on the substance. Many other World Powers watched in fear as the region started to become more and more unstable. There was little they could do, however. If one stepped in to help one country or to prevent war, one country could just stop selling oil to that said country. Not to mention that WWIII could start like WWII had started, and many nations didn't wish that... However, before any diplomatic solution came, there was an all out attack on Israel. Israel, having nuclear technologies, warned that if any large scale attack on them occurred, they would use that technology. They weren't bluffing.
As soon as the first nuke launched, it was the unofficial start of WWIII. North Africa, the countries bordering India and Russia, all rushed into war. The fighting was so intense that soon, lines on borders didn't matter and that all that was left was a wasteland... Out of sheer hatred for one another they paid no attention to what they were doing to the region and soon left it as open land for the taking. Many North African countries made a rush for land, and were about to war for it, hoping to find pockets of oil left for them, but saw something better than warring. They decided to unite under one banner. The Empire of North Africa. This Empire comprised of every country north of Angola, Zambia, and Tanzania all the way to Kazakhstan, Pakistan, and Afghanistan. (Turkey wasn't included and had survived the War of the Middle East.) With this Region condensed into one, it greatly effected the World Economy. The Empire that had formed, however, was surprisingly VERY wealthy. Not to mention the fact that they did manage to find a few dense areas of oil but it was estimated to last only a few years. This being said, and that almost all of the world's oil is located in the Middle East, which allowed the monopolization of oil...

The Year is now 2104 and it has been 8 long years of World Peace and world recovery. Africa has been cleared of it's radiation and its useful materials have been salvaged. The United States offered Canada the option to join with them in the benefits of the great economy. The reason for such an offer was that when the USA was invaded, Canada immediately went to the aid of their southern neighbor. Troops, resources, materials, etc. Canada accepted the offer, and in 2097, they formed The Republic of North America. The rebuilding of the South was immediately started as was the development of the wasteland that was former Mexico. Along with this, the two countries that made up the Republic made a decision as what would be the capital of the Republic. It was decided that Manhattan Island would has a new Capital City named Freedom's Throne.
Freedom's Throne soon tripled in size, but not in the way one would expect. The size of the city didn't spread. However, it became more dense... (OOC: Look at Locations for Details.) This allowed for more business, more money growth, and more jobs. This killed the unemployment rate in the city and left almost every citizen to be above the average middle working class. Wealth, low crime rates, political importance, and architectural marvels made the city the most prosperous city in the entire world as it also drew in thousands upon thousands of people across the world as a tourism hot spot. No unemployment rate, little to no poverty, more business, and nearly the #1 Tourism location on Earth... It was what many other cities, states, countries, and Republics looked up to. It was a real life utopia where freedom reigned supreme and it allowed its people to thrive.
Now that it is 2104, and the Earth's #1 City is still Freedom's Throne. However, this is soon to change... In the year 2102, there was a large amount of Gang Violence in the city. Don't think it was a typical street gang violence. It was violence between organized crime lords that were looking to own parts of the city for themselves in order to live even larger than they already had been living. This period of time was called,"The Moshpit of 2102 (or,'102)," since it only lasted a year. The Police were undermanned at this point and had a hard time trying to take down each Mob at a time while also trying to keep the public safe and take in recruits. It's bad for recruiting when the news stations repot on the large amount of officers being murdered in the streets.
Then, all of a sudden, the Mobs started falling off the radar. Known Crime Lords, too rich to touch or pin anything on, were turning up dead, along with the other officials and leaders of their Gangs. Near the end of 2102 there were only 3 of 9 known Mobs in the city. They must've known that something was happening because it was reported that they left the city after the,"Massacre of LaRouls Night Club." This Club was a major hotspot for meetings between Crime Lords to negotiate and collaborate with one another if they chose to do so. On October 21, 2102 there was a meeting of Crime Lords: Jack "Ripper" Worthington, Worlo "Smooth Talker" Stevens, and Jimmy "The Kid" Evans. They each lead their own Organization single handedly and didn't trust it to anyone else. They were also the heavy hitters when it came to Gang Wars since they had many experienced men at their disposal as well as weapons. If they agreed to lay out a deal where they each had their own slice of the city, it would've made them allies. However, something happened.
The night club was attacked. No one inside survived. Not even a janitor. The ballistics that were taken shed some light on what weapons were used and this caused a great deal of fear to spread through the cops in the city. The Weapons that were used were military grade, POWERFUL, and heavily modded with armor piercing and explosive rounds... No one but the military were allowed to have those things. This was troubling because after this happened, and those three mobs were taken out, the other opposing mobs left and the police were left with no leads on who was behind the attack and what mob they were. After two years all the police has on them is a name. The "Imperial Mundail."
The Imperial Mundail are flooding the streets with extreme drugs that have dangerous side effects, selling advanced weaponry, and are setting up the downfall of Freedom's Throne through the rise of crime. The Police currently have no leads and have predicted the crime rate would triple in a single year as the drugs spread and the demand for them rises...
Much of what I just shared is what you already know, but I am sending this message to ask for help. I know it has been a long time since any of us spoke, much less, seen each other. However, I am currently living in the outskirts of Freedom's Throne in the house the Government promised and with the money they promised me as well... I know that most of you probably have turned back to your old lives, embraced new ones, or even started to search for a purpose again. I would understand. O Coracao changed us all and I know that I, too, was waiting, even hoping, for the world to go bad so I could have a purpose to serve again. I know that the world is looking to go on better than ever in the past and there is no indications of any war to occur in the near future, so why not help the people of Freedom's Throne? Why not take down the Imperial Mundail? If any of you are interested in serving something again to help people, meet me at my home so we can discuss this in a more in depth way and in person. The Classic Café is owned by Amelia Mayer and her daughter Mona. Retiring from photon experiments after her daughter's accident, Amelia used the rest of her money to buy a cafe in the heart of downtown New York City. For the last six months Mona Mayer has been managing the café while Amelia Mayer is away conducting research for the Peace Corps. It's called the Classic Café because of its retro theme. The interior mimics styles of the early 2000s; old style expresso machines, comfortable and puffy chairs with modern lines and minimalistic coffee tables. The only new age aspect about the cafe are the coffee tables that contain a glass holo computer built into the actual table so patrons can do business/school work or look up sports and weather while sipping on their drinks. As of late, a stray cat has taken a liking to the Classic Café and roams in when Mona is about to close up shop. Freedoms Throne - Freedom's Throne is the Capital of the Republic of North America and is a Architectural Marvel. Since the merging of the two countries occurred, the Capital attracted large amounts of people try and start better lives in the greatest city that there was at the time. This lead to the building of the Five Wards. The construction of these words is hard to explain. The city, due to overpopulation, divided itself into five specific areas: Business (The superstructures that brush the clouds.), Entertainment (Everything that you would fit into the entertainment genre.), Transportation (Taxi Services, Parking, Air Ports, Dealerships, Etc.) , and Population (Apartments and Housing.) This, however, was still too small of an island to have an immense population to navigate all at once. So, for the first time in history, a city developed an Elevated Transportation Network. This network is a web of elevated roadways, Transportation Hubs (Where you can hail taxis and rent cars along with parking areas.), and Elevated Cargo Ports. Lots of business buildings had the Network built into the buildings themselves so they could have a Transportation Hub for their workers, along with Cargo Ports (Warehouses.) This web of transportation is the only way to get around the city by hover car. The ground level, due to the large population, is for on foot transportation or bike transportation. It is illegal to drive on ground level.
Warren Mansion - Warren Mansion isn't much of a mansion to the public. More like a LARGE 2 story home with several little additions to it. Such as; a nice Social Room for relaxation with friends and family, an attractive Bar, a perfect Kitchen that can be accessed through the bar, a Situation/Conference Room with a holographic display table, a cozy Personal Library that is in the tallest tower of the house, and five bedrooms.
Master Bedroom - This Bedroom Belongs to Wade Warren and is the only bedroom with the balcony and is above the Lobby (Behind the Lobby is a spiral staircase hidden from room that leads to the second floor. There are two other spiral staircases to each side but leading down into the Basement Bedrooms) This is one of two other bedrooms on the second floor and the first room to come across as its door is right at the entrance to the stairs.
Second Floor Bedroom (Right) - This bedroom is located directly down the hall to the right after you walk up the spiral staircase. The glass to the bathroom of is able to be controlled from voice the person using the bathroom. It could totally black out everything, or be a one way mirror with only the person in the bathroom can see out while the person on the outside sees only blacked out panes of glass.
Second Floor Bedroom (Left) - This bedroom is located directly down the hall to the left after you walk up the spiral staircase. The glass to the bathroom of is able to be controlled from voice the person using the bathroom. It could totally black out everything, or be a one way mirror with only the person in the bathroom can see out while the person on the outside sees only blacked out panes of glass.
Basement Bedrooms - These bedrooms can only be accessed by the two staircases on the either sides of the spiral staircase leading to the second floor. They are connected wall to wall and share a bathroom that is outside their rooms in a simple hallway and exactly like the bathrooms up on the second floor.
All of the rooms have a holo-TV (Holographic Television) installed in their room, along with a holo-Computer. The rooms are easily converted into whatever the person wants. The lights, temperature, and even sound proofing is up to the person. The walls have compartments that can be used for storage of whatever you need.
However, this isn't all of the house... There is one secret to this place. Underneath the House there is a secret facility for Team Alpha use only. The entrance is located within the home's library behind a bookshelf. Once the right book is pulled out, it reveals an elevator. This leads down to the Facility.
Armory/Intelligence Center - This area of the Facility is equipped with all the latest weapon and surveillance technology. In this area you can create entire new weapons, repair old ones, or create new armors. There are personal areas of the armory for each team member to keep their gear. You can also move to the surveillance wall which is completely stacked with tech that can hack nearly any camera and has access to databases and everything. In the world of information collection, this has to be the greatest weapon.
Garage - The garage stores ALL the vehicles that were made for Team Alpha back 8 Years ago for their missions. Some kept as relics while others are relatively new... Each Member has a personal vehicle that matches their specific job in the group. Such as The Enforcer would have a heavily armored and armed vehicle made for open warfare.
Combat Arena/Gym - There is a personal fitness section to the facility to keep Team Alpha on their toes. (It's also located within the middle of the armory so the others could get a sense of entertainment of a fight while cleaning, modding, or working on guns or armor.) Around the Combat Arena there is the workout equipment.
Shooting Range - There is a Shooting Range made to withstand any powerful handheld weapon. It is located directly next to the armory and is stocked with any type of target.
Weapon Testing Area - This is located directly next to the firing range and is stocked with several types of armor to test the effectiveness of new weapons. This is also a testing range for explosives of almost any kind.
Holographic Combat Simulation Rooms - These rooms are very large with an advanced system of environmental construction and deconstruction system that allows any terrain and any scenario and with the help of Gravon fields, the terrain is real. Here Team Alpha can do Simulations of any kind. Team Alpha versus combatants, Alpha Team members versus Alpha Team members, Hostage Situations, etc. However, the holograms may look real and the terrain may feel real, the bullets and weapons are not. The worst you'll feel is a sting. This also takes the most amount of space in the facility. It is the size of a SMALL town.

Gravon is the metal that unlocked paths to advanced technology like nothing else could. At first glance Gravon is a useless metal. Nothing remarkable. That is until you put an electric current to the metal... This is when the remarkable thing happens. Depending on the charge of the current, the metal will either gain mass or lose it. If you run a negative current through the metal, it will lose mass and weigh less and less. If you run a positive current through the metal it will gain mass and become heavier and stronger. Soon it was discovered that with enough electricity Gravitational Fields could be created. Anything within the field will gain or lose mass depending on the current pumped into the metal, like an electromagnet. This revolutionized EVERYTHING. As time went by discoveries for new ways to use this rare element were found almost monthly.
A few discoveries were:
Repulsion Fields- Repulsion Fields can block, deflect, or return force of ANYTHING put against it.
Specified Object Fields- With the use of computer controlled Electrical Current Producers and Gravitation Emitters, Gravitational Fields can be controlled at will. This function is mostly used to focus on an object and manipulate its mass and also constructs and deconstructs things at will. (This helps with "Holosynthisized" Objects.)
Gravon Manipulation- Gravon Manipulation is the use of the Gravitational fields to move objects at will without physical contact. It is controlled by Gravitation Emitters and a computer.
General Technology
If person was taken from the early 21st Century and placed in this time period they would think they would be living in the dark ages. General technology has advanced EXTREMELY far to the point where early 21st Century,"Science Fiction Technology" is no longer fiction. Inside of homes there is a Central Computer that can control this action for several users at once. It works with temperature, tv remotes, and all other things that you could think of. In homes though there is also more things that could be done than out in public. Floating Holographic "Tables" can be created for many things like drawings, creating Holographic Cities or Models and any form of art. There are no true limits to what could be done through this. This means that if you don't want to have your city model able to be touched, or your TV unable to be knocked over or something, it can be created without the usual plastic that makes up your phone on the go and things like that.)

Many questions would be asked on how the cars would fly, how would motorcycles hover, and so on. The keys to these things is too the element Gravon. This POWERFUL metal can be used on anything, and the amount needed to make a car fly and a motorcycle hover is astonishingly small. All you need to do is pump electricity into the Gravon, which is controlled by computers, and you can either make your vehicle lighter or make it heavier. For means of transportation you add a negative current to the Gravon and you car will float. Then you add electric powered thrusters to the car, GRPs (Gravon Repulser Pads which prevents the car from crashing or being hit or getting too close to the ground. Like "Shields" they are like a protective barrier.) and four GBPs (Gravon Break Pads.) and you are ready to drive. The same principal with a motorcycle or ANY other vehicle. Air Ships are also grouped into different classifications of purpose and objectives. There are:
Passenger Ships that deliver passengers commercially like how it used to be in the early 21st Century. Passenger Ships are known to be able to carry about 400-1,700 passengers at once, along with personal luggage and so on. These ships are more set up like a leisure setting with rooms, relaxation areas, and so on. Some ships even have several floors. This also depends on the ship. Some short range ships only have the standard rows of seats while LONG flights have the more open atmosphere.
"Cruise" Ships are Air Ships that move at a sower pace than most Air Ships and are more along the lines of luxurious flying. For instance. You plan to go on a vacation, you'd choose a Cruise Ship to enjoy everything about the vacation. From the moment you get on the luxurious ship, get to your chosen location that you spend your vacation at, then until you get off the Cruise Ship once again when you return home. Many businesses people chose these flights instead of the Passanger Ships. Consider this stye of ship as,"First Class."
Cargo Ships are as they sound. They transfer cargo from all over the world and are known to be the fastest Air Ships there are.

Biography ✴ Mona had lived a very sheltered life until her mother, world renown molecular chemist, Amelia Mayer brought Mona to her photon lab on take your child to work day. Unbeknownst to Amelia's interns and her daughter, the single mother was working with the government to produce armor and weaponry for Team Alpha, the United State's super soldiers. Amelia narrowed her research on "light manipulation," using the same photon energy that she claimed would also reduce the consumption of coal and allow homeowners to use a reliable resource instead of solar or wind energy. Mona's grandparents were wary of Amelia's experiments and remained distant from the family to emphasize their lack of support, but that didn't stop Amelia's goal. Her vision was a photon generator, a mechanism that could produce light and electricity to thousands of homes or power the strongest soldier suit and enable the wearer to the properties of light. However, the energy was difficult to contain and transport and the generator itself was still a prototype. While Amelia was explaining the inner workings of a photon generator to her interns, Mona, at the young age of ten and out of pure curiosity, pulled a nearby lever. Opening the generator, Mona was sucked inside and became exposed to the properties of photon energy as electricity melded into her DNA. As a result, a bolt of electricity scarred her neck, her brown hair turned white, her blue eyes turned gray and she became photokinetic.
Soon after the incident, Amelia halted all work with Team Alpha and the government in order to properly look after Mona and provide her with a happy and healthy lifestyle despite her abnormalities. Because of the accident and Amelia's secrets with the government, she became overprotective of her daughter and chose to shield her from the worst of the world. With the rest of the money the government provided, Mona's mother bought a cafe in the heart of downtown New York City. Despite an absent father and stern grandparents, Mona grew up in the city and became exposed to the crime and violence that existed there, despite her mother's efforts to shelter her. Several times she had used her powers to stop petty thefts, however, Mona lacks proper training and the only possesses knowledge that enhance her powers. As a result, Mona does wish to help reduce the city of crime, but is still an amateur.
When Mona isn't working at the Classic Café with her mom, she commutes to NYU. She's studying communication, international studies and marketing because of her desire to better connect the world after the steady rise of tension between nations and/or promote small businesses. A year ago, Mona's mother was offered to work with the Peace Corps and conduct research in poorer nations. Although Amelia was excited to promote plans such as The Thirst Project and help end suffering, she almost declined to look after Mona in the city. Recognizing that her mother's talents shouldn't go to waste, Mona persuaded her to go after hiring more employees and raising her grades last semester to clarify that she was an adult and her mother had to follow her dreams. Reluctantly, her mother left and Mona has been living on her own, going to school and managing the cafe for the last six months.
