Usually when people think of an apocalypse they just think of the end of the current civilization. Understandable, but there are other forms of life, or new life that grows to fit the new environment even if it takes a thousand years.
That's what happened to the world of Oo, formerly known as Earth. Despite a war that led to a giant chunk of the planet being obliterated, life goes on. Objects and animals gained sentience, even the element of fire (which I am currently disguised as). There's so many mysteries in this world I doubt I can unravel them all, at least in one trip.
