Ann~I wonder where kisame is
Kiba~we are home today. I think he went to be with itachi.
Ann~is he supposed to be with ravi or ninata then?
Kiba~let’s check the hyuuga compound first. We’ll pass by there if we head to ravi’s

Kiba sighed as they finished lunch. Afterwards, they got the triplets ready to head out and in the stroller.

He eyed her suspiciously, but nodded
Kisame~I’ll get the water boiling then. You’ll still need to stop at the market to get some things.

Ann~go inside and get some water for sasuke and your brother. They’re going to be taking a break soon

Ann~we need to tell aunty ravi that itachi is sick, so she doesn’t worry about him later. I also need to drop off the triplets at uncle zabuza’s now too

After a little while, ann returned home with some groceries. She found kisame on the floor holding itachi’s hand from the sofa.

Kisame~ann almost burned me just now…you also have a fever
Itachi nodded as he drank some water, and then laid back down again.
Itachi~oh..what about ninata?
Kisame~she’s okay. A little sad you had to go but understood. You should sleep some more now. The soup isn’t finished yet
He nodded again and quickly fell asleep. Kisame strode over to ann and hit her

Ann snapped her fingers at him again. He flinched, thinking he would get caught on fire, but nothing happened. He tried yelling at her, but nothing came out, so he tried yelling more
Ann~you’re going to wake itachi again with your yelling. At least if you think it he won’t wake. Now listen
He stopped and glared at her
Ann~I can only use my spells a total of four times without fainting, and I’ve already used it twice. So if I unmute you, and you continue to be noisy, I will need to silence you again. That means you will have to wait around ten to fifteen minutes before it wears off. Do you understand what I said?
Kisame took a moment to process what she said, then nodded. She snapped her fingers again towards him then went back to chopping the veggies

Ann~which is why zabuza doesn’t like to spar with me when I’m upset.
Kisame nodded and stirred the pot.

Ann~oh, if you take itachi home and decide to spend the night, make sure you sleep in a different bed. I hear that fire ninjas get grabby when their partners are near. If he stays here, we do have a cot, so you don’t have to share a bed
Kisame blushed but nodded. It explains that time when itachi got sick after they had to travel in the rain all night and didn’t find any shelter. He was fine, since the mist often rained, and he had to do missions in those conditions, but itachi had gotten the cold, and almost the pneumonia. Since kakuzu was so cheap, they didn’t have any winter blankets, so to keep his partner warm, he had to sleep next to him. It wasn’t too long after that that itachi started to grope and kiss him. Since itachi was 15 at the time, kisame didn’t want to take advantage of him and come to find that the younger hadn’t wanted it.
