Well...Intrams was something... stare It wasn't exactly the greatest thing. You see, sportsmanship wasn't exactly present this year. Disappointment, treachery, foul-mouth and cheating were displayed this year. I don't know, but the Seniors are...a little...um...off the edge...they tend to go into submission when they lose to us. And in the end, they "show" that they're being sportsmanly. Too bad...it's too fake... Well, we scored 2nd place in the over-all standings, 27 points behind -- they got 336 points and we (the Juniors) got 309 points. And they would keep on shouting that they got 4th place, 3rd place, and 2nd place. It's like they don't wanna admit that they won or something. To me, that's simply low. What was cool was that when Ma'am Cerla was calling out the standing for 1st runner-up, they Seniors were shouting out they're names and Ma'am did say that they got 2nd place. You should've seen the look on their faces. They were disappointed as hell. But then Ma'am Cerla announced the real results -- that the Juniors won 2nd place and the Seniors as the champions. What's lower about them is that they won the minor games and lost the major events. That's the reason why we were only 27 points away from them -- we won most of the major events and they won the minor ones. I think we could've won 1st place if we weren't disqualified in Dodgeball (Girls) for the 1st set. The reason -- there were two balls on the field. We didn't mean to, they just threw the balls at the same time. So with that, the Seniors started to whine and we got disqualified. It's all good though...they can be bitches...they complain more than I do. When we played the Freshmen in Dodgeball (Girls) we found out that they were whiny brats as well. We were almost gonna commit the same mistake we made during our match with the Seniors, but if there would be a fault, it would be on my part. I chased after the ball that went out of bounds, came back with it, and my teammates told me that they already had a different ball that was closer than the one I went after. The Freshmen weren't aware that the game was still going on and just stood there in place, which made it easier for us to take them out. And then they started to whine. They were complaining about me throwing the ball I had chased after into the field when I threw it over my back when my teammates told me that they already had a ball. They just felt bad because they got hit... twisted Poor widdle Freshies... stare Well...I don't think that the Seniors were that violent this year. Last year, they were brutal. Well, last year when they were Juniors and we were Sophomores. The Sophomore girls had a basketball match against the Junior girls and...well, let's just say there were casualties. Biggest casualty -- JM. She got punched in the eye. The Juniors said it was an accident, but it wasn't an accident at all. How could be the least of an accident when you didn't go straight to her aid and feel any sympathy or regret?
Anyways, onto Intrams Night. Last year was awesome. I swear to God that last year's Intrams Night was awesome. It was just so...alive. Once the music started, everyone moved onto the dance floor and it was just so poppin'. This year...was dead. It was like...DOA or something. Even during the awarding ceremony it was dead. Oh hell, those 3 days were somewhat dead. But...I think it was me who was the only enthusiastic one when I accepted my award for being the champion at the Discus Throw (Girls) event. But it felt better when I accepted 1st runner-up award for the same event last year. I managed to keep the medal... ninja sweatdrop Intrams Night '06 was somewhat a disaster. Two chicks had some booze somewhere, a friend of mine cried, my best friend felt horrible for two reasons that I can think of at the moment, and practically everyone thought it was boring. I was ready to hit the dance floor until my friend was kinda offended. I felt bad after that and I needed to take a walk. Jo took a walk with me, along with Laurenz. We hadn't even reached the Canteen when I was already perked up. I found a huge earthworm while we were walking and I found it extremely cute. 4laugh You could kinda guess what I named it before I returned it to where it belonged. You see, any creature I find cute and I find it in a place where it doesn't belong and I make an attempt to save it and return it to where it belongs...I kinda give it a name...one name for all of them... It's odd actually, so I won't say any more... sweatdrop The playlist was crap. I swear...it was just...s**t. They played more "Tunog-Kalye" stuff than dance music. Who...would actually dance to that stuff??? But...I cried when I heard two songs. They followed each other, I think. Song 1, which made me cry instantly was "Far Away" by Nickelback. I couldn't hold back the tears. I just couldn't... Next was "Just The Girl". It's actually been a while since I last heard that song, so I listened to the lyrics again. And THEN I broke down again. The tears started to flow, but I tried my best to smile...which made my lips quiver. God, I just couldn't contain myself. But...I composed myself later on. It took a bit though... Popes was there. We call him by his last name, so Popes is his last name. Marlowe Popes (Mar-lo-wee Poh-pehs)...*laughs* Sorry...couldn't help it. rofl Nikki's beau. I guess he still thinks that I still think of Jewel. See, they were friends and they still are although they don't go to college together. I guess he thinks that 'coz he filled me in on a fact about Jewel winning something. I don't think I heard right about what since the music was a little too loud and I don't exactly care about Jewel now. No offense, I just don't.
Stupid fact -- on the 1st day of Intrams, at the Volleyball court at the gym, Rupert (Jewel's and Popes' friend) caught me looking in their direction. At that, he called out "Jewel," expecting me to look at him. It's usually a joke that if you actually look, then you care about that person. I was laughing in my head, rather...they think I'm not over him. rofl rofl rofl That's hilarious...
I think that's pretty much what had happened this Intrams...I felt sore until this morning. And I guess I'm alright now...well, better than how I felt two days ago. I woke up Thursday morning in a horrible mood. Hayato had come online about an hour after I had decided to go to sleep and stayed on for about 30 minutes. I woke up an hour after he came on. stare stressed scream Damn my sleepiness... Well, the next morning, I felt sore all over. But when I woke up to find Hayato was on (11pm), I was already feeling sore. It just got worse the next morning.
I'm just rambling on, amn't I...I'll shut up now...
