I am an angel, a messenger of god
I wonder where I am to go, my path
I hear the cries of the wounded and the dead
I see the pain within every one
I am an angel, a messenger of god

I pretend to live amongst the living
I feel the presence of life and death
I touch to heal those who need to be healed
I worry if I will accomplish my life’s goal
I cry for the dead and for the sad
I am an angel, a messenger of god

I understand the reason for love and war
I say every one needs to be saved
I dream of being with the living
I try to save all that need to be saved
I hope that I accomplish my task
