Hmm..had a strange dream last night that will earn laughs from a lot of my RL friends, so I'd better type it up before I forget it. In the dream...
My friend Sam and I are at White Point (a resort where her father used to work, until he quit) for some special screening of all the LOTR films. We're sitting in the dining room, eating cheesecake, when I look at the table a few away from ours and see Orlando Bloom. I point him out, and then very calmly go over to him. "Hi, Orlando?" I ask kindly, "I hate to bother you, but I was hoping that maybe I could get an autograph." As he signs my napkin, I say a few other things, and then go sit down. Sam does the same, and comes back squealing. On her note, it says "To Sam, the girl I've been wanting to talk to all night. Love Orlando." I look at mine, and see "I was enjoying a wonderful meal tonight, until someone decided to interrupt it. What is wrong with you?" I get incredibly pissed off, and the dream ends.
I woke up (at 5:45am, by the way) still angry at Orlando, and it took me a good half hour to realize that it hadn't happened. sweatdrop
Anyways, now that I'm here, I might as well talk about a few other interesting things.
Well, my ego has been incurably damaged after I got a 64% on an essay yesterday. I've had myself convinced that I can put no effort into essays and still come out with high marks that I didn't even bother try on this one. It turns out that teachers of advanced English mark accordingly. Luckily, most people did pretty bad, so I'll live.
I also got to go volunteer at the Seniors' center last night. I helped two women named Edna and Winnie play BINGO, and to tell the truth, it kind of scared me. To think that one day I could be in a situation where I need someone to help me sit down, re-teach me the game, help me stand up...it's not a good thought. Edna kept apologizing for being stupid, just because she wasn't winning, and I really thought I was going to cry. It was still a great experience, and I hope to go back a lot over the next year and a half.
And then I went to work today. It was horribly busy, but I DID get to buy another pony (the happy meal toys). I now have Starswirl, Butterscotch, PinkiePie (what kind of name is that?), and Sparkleworks. 3nodding
And that's enough rambling for one day.
