Ok, so today was one of those really fun days where I spent a bunch of money on myself and generally enjoyed being a girl. And by "one of those days", I mean pretty much the first time ever. Turns out I love it heart
I left school at lunch time (skipped Math, but I told my teacher ahead of time and got the work), and went to Sam's to pick up the clothes her mom hemmed for me, and then went straight home to drop them off. I then ran out immediatley, got a new bank card (I left mine at school and couldn't afford to wait for my boyfriend to bring it to me), and headed to the hair salon.Let me just say: If I could have my hair shampooed that thoroughly every week of my life, I wouldn't need anything else. So now I've got a cute new haircut, which I'll post pics of on Tuesday.
Anyways, I enjoyed myself so much that I left a much bigger tip that I should have, and then went and splurged on a pair of heels. Came home, gave myself a full body pampering treatment, and now I'm relaxing for twenty minutes before I have to start packing for Quebec. 3nodding
I only wish I was going there for a more fun reason. It's a Key Club (Kiwanis Educating Youth (volunteer stuff)) convention, so there's lots of formal wear and workshops, but at least we have Sunday night free. Now if I could just speak conversational French >.<
We have to be on the road by six am tomorrow, and it's a ten hour drive. Luckily, that will give me time to read Faust, do an English essay on The Chrysalids, and study for the math test that I have the day I get back. Who knew that missing two days of school could be so stressful? sweatdrop
Well, nothing else to say for now. But if anyone PMs me between today and Tuesday morning, I might have to open up a can of whoop a**. whee
