Who remembers...
Who remembers the days when Gaia was about people? Who remembers the days when events came with MAYBE 1 item? You posted till some random NPC was NICE ENOUGH to give you said item, and then you were done with getting them. Granted I appriciate all of the nice events and things gaia has given me over the years, but I lust for the days when I got excited about events because it meant mingling with the mods and admins and having a good time with the over all population of gaia. Now all anyone cares about is bumps, items, and how many you can get....sickening. I think it sucks that they had to extend events for 3 days for people to be able to get items and participate...I mean, if we all lived in a community, and there was one thing going on for a day, and I had to work...well i guess id just miss that thing, and I would have to live with that. Life ******** lessons people. Seriously. Now we have these 3 day extravaganzas, which granted are nice, but all they do is afford people the oppurtunity to exploit the system and get like 50 items, then flood the market later with items for people who didnt get them. Collectables are meant to be rare ya? Event Items Rarer? and Monthly Items the rarest? Is gaia just giving everyone so many items to deflate their value in the market so that Monthly event items are seen to be much more valuable? Which in tern generates more money for them? Maybe....
