Foxkin often mate for life, but not always. They choose their partner by mutual agreement. They breed only if the female wills it so. A female will not become pregnant unless she wishes to carry cubs no matter how often the enjoyable act is performed, and that you should know about already.
When cubs are born there is usually two. One is an occasional event and as many as five have been recorded. Cubs are normaly born into an extended family, as it should be. Grandparents, Uncles, Aunts, Cousins and older Siblings assist Parents. Members of other familys often help in the raising of cubs too.
When a cub is born he/she is given a name. This, the birth name, is traditionaly chosen by the Grandparents. This name is retained untill the cub attains five years of age. At this time a cub is 'inducted' into the Clan and a new name is given. This is the child name and is chosen by the parents. It is often a name of famous/infamous relative. The otpion of a last name change is given at fifteen years. This name is chosen by the individual and is purely optional.
Cubs are sent to various learning centres to discover their talents. It is a side effect of 'uplift' that most Foxkin have latent abilities ranging from magical to mental and extreme physical traits, all of these are nurtured to their fullest.
Foxkin cubs are assisted to adulthood and often beyond by a loving and caring community.
