This is a report on the information I have been able to gather on the members of my immediate family.
A little family history first? It seems I am a decendant of a line of spys. My family has served at the pleasure of His Majesty, The Royal Emperor and his esteemed forebears for over twenty generations. Loyaly and secretly, we have gone about our duty with the utmost dedication. And then we were exposed.
My brother was found by the ShapeShifters in the most uncomfortable of positions. In the Shifter Pricess's bedroom. He had used his charm and wit to gain her trust and love, little did the poor innocent know. He had been extremely successful in gathering information in their royal court. The situation exploded. My father gathered his family and at the instruction of His Royalness, we departed our estates. Into intergalactic flight we sped.
While on out travels we were attacked. In our ship was my father, my brother, my sister and myself. We faced a fleet of Shifter ships in the vastness of space with no hope of assistance. A running battle ensued. My sister navigated, my father and brother on weapons and myself as pilot, we managed to elude the fleet for several ship's days, destroying twelve of their ships as a matter of interest. We became exhausted and eventualy trapped. Our last chance was a new and as yet unproven invention of father's. A time machine. We discussed this and decided there was no option. Father activated it as we looked on.
I awoke some time later in hospital. Most of my body had been repalced by cybernetics. Father visited often as I recovered and became used to my new body. We discussed many things. He had decided to split up the family so the chance could not again arise to kill us all. He had found an out of the way place he called the Pinicle of Peace. He resides there to this day in the guise of an old magician, watching over us.
My brother is in my charge. He suffered a fearsome blow to the head when I was injured. It seems to have done him no physical damage, but he has only memories of me. That we are brothers. He believes our father dead. That my injuries were sustained in an effort to save father's life. That it was unsuccessful. He visits with the old magician at the Pinicle of Peace but knows him not. He remembers our sister not at all.
I have not been informed of my sisters location. Father believes it too risky to her for it to be known. Little dose he realise that my cybernetic implants allow me to scan every person I meet to discover their genetic makeup. Eventualy I will find her.
And so, here we are. Locked in the past. My father on his mountain. My sister lost in the great unwashed. And Flame Fox, in my charge, with memory loss. And myself..............
They hunt for us. And I for them.
