So stop all of these lies
That you stain

I keep hearing promises and all these gurantees
But are you sure you'll keep them?
You keep saying "I'll see"

My heart loses faith as each second passes by
And this is all for just one lie
The same one you made when you promised me
A promise that you'd come back
It's always not a gurantee

So next time when you want to make a promise
Think about it
Can you keep it without any dramas?
Can you stick to your word and nothing else?
No excuses, none of that s**t
No more hits below the belt?

I expect the best from you, and that's it
So don't be gvin' me all this s**t

I wish you would cease with your old ways
And start it right
No more haze
No more of "Sorry, maybe next time"
or the "I can't, how about later?" chime.
