Well, i seem to have developed a new problem, seeing as all my girl problems are gone with the freakin' mexican wind.
Lately I've been dreaming each time I sleep.
Normally, this wouldn't be a problem, but they keep getting more vivid, more realistic.
I tend to dream either one of two things. The first, is just my normal life, eating, drinking, playing games on the computer, ordinary stuff.
But the other dreams...
When I dream these second kind of dreams, I am not alone, but with friends, good friends, who have known me for a long time, and know ME. Who know who I am, what I am,have seen me at my best and worst, at my happiest and saddest, who understand how I think and feel, and can even predict my reactions to an extent. Their faces are the most familiar ones I have ever seen, but for the life of me, I do not know where I've seen them outside of my dreams. I feel like I know them as well as the know me.
Not only this, but the dreams are just so ******** fantastic. It's...I don't know how to describe it, the technology isn't advanced beyond crossbows, there's what I guess we'd call magic...Castles and forts seem to be what passes for big cities...None of this really describes my dreams adequately, though...
It seems like paradise, to me...I feel so at peace with myself there, like that's where I'm supposed to be. Where I was meant to be.
I can hardly remember what goes on, but I am slowly remembering more and more of them, or what goes on...If it didn't sound like it a cliche anime story plot, I'd say that I think that it was really another world, that what I am dreaming is real, and, for some reason, I am in both that world and this one at the same time.
The main reason I'm tempted to say that is...Well, at the end of half of the dreams I do actually remember, I go to sleep, or am, for one reason or another, knocked unconscious.
These dreams have gotten so realistic, I can remember the feel of the keys I hit on the keyboard, or the brisk wind dancing by me, or the ache of my back from sitting in my computer chair for hours, or even the feel of a old, beaten, leather grip on a sword in my hand...
Half the time, I can't tell if I am dreaming, or if I'm awake. The ordinary dreams are completely that, ordinary, nothing to distinguish them from my being awake, nothing at all...
And every now and then, I can't help but wonder, which is a dream, and which is real.
