You know how those elitist so called "intelligent Anime fans" call us Inuyasha fans "Inutards"? That is just stereotypical. They think ALL Inuyasha fans type like "OMFG I lyk so lyk inuyasah is lyk so kwl!!1!!! Lyk sesshomaru is so lyk hawt11!!!!11!!!!!!" And are just illiterate idiots. Well, that is extremely rude of them, stereotyping like that. Yes, I know, a lot of Inuyasha fans type like that, and I feel sorry for their idiotic-ness, but not all Inuyasha fans do that. The definition of an Inuyasha fan is someone who enjoys watching and likes the Inuyasha Anime and Manga series, not "l33t-typing morons".
Take myself for an example, I hate chatspeak and leet, and I only used it here to give an example. Other than giving examples and making fun of it I do not use it, with the exception of "lol". I love Inuyasha. I don't mind the repetition and there is actually less cliche that the people make it out to be. And I like Inu-hits-Shippo-then-gets-Osuwari'd-by-Kagome slapstick humor. Plus, I could see some message hidden behind it, and, yes, Sesshomaru is #3 on my Hot list. But that doesn't mean I'm stupid or anything. I have the right of watching my favorite Anime and still get the respect I deserve. I've seen other Inu-fans type properly too, and calling us all "Inutards" is stereotypical, disrespectful, and rude.
We have the right to like Inuyasha and be respected at the same time. It's not Inuyasha giving the fandom a bad name, it's the illiterate-by-choice fans that give the series a bad name.
(P.S. Illiterate-by-choice means that the person has been to school or is in school, but still type like a 3-year-old. I do not dislike all Illiterates. Just those that has the chance to be literate and isn't. If you are illiterate but never had an educational opportunity, I do not hold anything against you.)
(P.P.S. Just so you people know, I got a 98 on my Science Final. You don't call people who get 98's morons.)
