Sirius Reincarnations/Past-Lives |

First of all, I'd like you all to know that this entry is pure crack. Pure, unadulterated crack. If you somehow get offended (I dunno how you can, maybe you don't like my choice of people), then keep in mind that this is, 1. my journal, 2. my personal opinion, and 3. pure crack.
Now, you might be thinking, "Lunara! Go do your AP homework!". Well... in fact, I am doing my AP homework at the moment. I tend to slack during it, since this is my home computer and I tend to get distracted easily. Plus, there's no way for me to do it during school. 45 minutes isn't enough. On my computer I have all night. And Evanescence. And this is an excuse to be on the computer longer than I should. AP homework is a very good cover, y'know...
Back on topic. So I have picked four people to be Sirius's reincaration/past lives, depending on the time period they lived in. As I get exposed to more fandom, the list will expand. Trust me. But for now, I have four. They are:
Hiko Seijuuro (Rurouni Kenshin)
Mercutio (Romeo and Juliet)
Laguna Loire (FFVIII)
Vincent Valentine (FFVII)
Let's start with Vincent. Vincent Valentine, as any of my friends IRL will know, is regarded by me to be the perfect image of Sirius Black, if only he had gray eyes. Vincent, at a physical age of 27, is more of an image of the older, more mature Sirius, as opposed to the younger one (Although I think pre-Chaos Vincent is actually a pretty good portrayal of Sirius, even with the short hair. If Sirius really looked like that with short hair, I'll take it.). Now. In the books, Sirius is described looking like a vampire. Vincent has been known to be mistaken for one by the fans of the game. They have similar hair lengths (Sirius's hair being elbow-length at the time of Prizoner of Azkaban), and possibly similar hairstyles. Sirius and Vincent also have the same pale complexion, and they're both tall. Vincent being 184 cm (According to Square Enix, I think) and I've estimated Sirius's height to fall into the range of 183 cm-193 cm based on the estimations of the heights of other characters with clues given throughout the 7 books. My friends who know Harry Potter, and even some people I talked to online, agrees that Vincent looks like Sirius. Except for the clothes and the red eyes. Oh well.
Vincent also resembles Sirius's moody side, the side of him that hates to be alone, which manefests itself during the 5th book when Sirius gets all moody and borderline-emo (lol).
Oh, and one more. Sirius died, according to HP choronology, in 1996. FFVII came out in 1997. Coincidence much?
Moving on to Mercutio. Now, being an Italian guy living in the 1500s-1600s, the chances of Mercutio being Sirius's height is very close to zero. Plus, there were'nt much description in the play of what Mercutio looked like, so I can't say anything about physical resemblance. Personality-wise, however, they are very similar. We all know from the 7th book that the teenage Sirius, at the very least, was somewhat a pervert, as seen on his bedroom wall. Anyone who has read Romeo and Juliet will also know that Mercutio is a pervert, much like Sirius. Mercutio also has a hot temper and is somewhat rash, as seen in him taking on Tybalt's challenge to Romeo, reflected in Sirius going to the Department of Magic when he was told not to. Both of which resulted in their respectable deathes. Mercutio also enjoyed teasing Romeo, which Sirius mostly likely have done during his school days to James. There is only one major difference I can point out, which is that Sirius probably respected women a lot more than Mercutio. But y'know. It's the 1600s. So that can't be helped.
Next is Hiko Seijuuro. For those of you who read scantalated Kenshin Manga, you probably know that there is two Hiko Seijuuro, the one during the short story, and Kenshin's Master. Both of them reminds me of Sirius. The Hiko Seijuuro in the Sengoku Jidai was more of the older Sirius (although I personally thought he was hotter... I likes my Bishies), and Hiko Seijuuro XIII was more, personality-wise, the younger Sirius. Knowing Sirius, he probably thought himself as "awesome", "great", etc, and he was, somewhat haughty to an extent like the way he looked at things or people, while still being drop-dead gorgeous at it. Hiko Seijuuro XIII was like that. He did think himself as awesome, and great, and all the other good stuff, and he certainly did like alchohol. Sirius probably did too as he was assumed to have drunken a lot during Harry's absence from Grimmauld Place to Hogwarts. Hiko also physically resembled Sirius to some extent, such as his hair and his height (although I doubt Sirius had THAT much muscle).
Finally, we have Laguna Loire. I can't give his personality much analysis, seeing that I've never played FFVIII, and Square Enix didn't make a movie either. I did, however, watched my friend play a part of it, and when I saw Laguna, I was like, "He looks like Sirius!". Aside from him being not that tall (only 175 cm... that's 8 cm shorter than Sirius's shortest acceptable height), he did resemble Sirius facially (especially the hair!). According to some sources, Laguna is speculated to be Squall's father, while Sirius is Harry's godfather.
Laguna actually resembles Vincent more. They're both gunners, lawl.
And maybe one of the reasons they picked Gary Oldman for Sirius in the movies is that he's the same height as Laguna. They're both 5'9". (<-------Pure Crack alert + it's Claudia's idea)
