I woke up today for no apparent reason at four in the morning. Something woke me up, but I couldn't tell what. As I lay there in my bed, I lied still so I could listen, to see if I could hear any sounds. But I didn't hear anything. So I just lay there, trying to find the lost thread of sleep. It was really quiet outside, nothing was making noise, then a few minutes later I could hear one bird singing. Now this lone bird was singing really loud... at least that's how it sounded in the quietness of the night; then in a few moments it was joined by other birds, waking up from their slumber. It was amazing to hear, one bird calling to hundreds to wake for the new day, and the others returning the call; calling other birds to wake up, and on the message was passed. Til all you could hear was the euphonic sound of birds. This was the first time I've ever experienced that.. I don't really know how else to explain it better. I suggest you try it sometime, it's kind of like a sunrise, but blind to the sight as a sunrise is deaf to the ears.
