Bare and cold. Empty and feeble. Natures bones, stark white. Pale and falling... Stripped of skin, naked.
I see your spindly fingers reach for the sky, aching to hold fast to summer and keep it with you always. The bruising wind blows through and around you. You shiver and shake. Tremble and bow. Bleached and scarred, weathered and guarded.
Waiting, hoping. Thirsting and needing, the kiss of sunlight again.
