But while Damien/Havoc breaks free four other teens are changing. Damien’s best friend Max begins to bond with a red Nexus. Max’s brother Luxe begins to become one with a green Nexus. The two other teens are Lily and Serenity. Max becomes Slawter and Luxe becomes Ethereal. Havoc and Slawter go and attack the scientists while Ethereal frees the other teens before they turn like Havoc and Slawter. Unfortunately Ethereal only saves three of the ten. Lily is a golden Nexus with the name Aureole. While Serentiy bonds with her Nexus to become Malign. The two other Nexus bond with Matt and Keir. Havoc and Slawter with Malign kill all the humans in the room except the ones Ethereal saved. But they try to kill them and Ethereal, Aureole, Matt protect them. “Why do you try to fight your own kind over these humans” Havoc says to Ethereal.
