Three wishes. Why is it always three? Why not four or two or one and a half? Parental units and teachers always count to three before punishing you, lots of food in dim sum comes in threes. What's so great about three?
Two is an excellent number. People are (usually) born with two arms, legs, ears ~ whatever. Minus the polygamists people date and get married in pairs. Two means no one gets left out.
Even numbers in general are better. That way each item/thing/creature can have a partner. If it's a number (three for instance) then one is always going to be alone. That's terrible.

So... here are my TWO wishes:

1) I wish I could teleport to anywhere in the world as many times as I wanted
This would have to come at a price. Not necessarily money either. Nothing that great is free.

2) I wish I could see how people really feel about me but only when I wanted to see
This is a selfish and cowardly wish. It's good to know what others feel about you but it can hurt like hell. Still, I'd rather know someone hated me rather than being with them and not knowing.
