Frightful Demoness
The air was quaint and eerie, yet peaceful and nostalgic at the same time. The atmosphere was as soothing as the air, well, to her it was. Tedious and on edge, just how she liked it before the daily killing. The smell of the dampened moonlight space filled her lungs with energy and wickedness. If only she would be able to describe the setting place as descriptively as I could. Her sight always became a little fuzzy when she was just a bit hungry. A gift, and a curse I suppose; but mainly a curse to everyone else. A evil smile crept along her face, her prey was on the move. The trees flew past her as if they were simply an illusion, a figment of her simple imagination. Oh how she loved the thrill of the chase. She stopped, high in the tree tops, making everything cease around her as well; no wind, no noise, no way out. A more sick smile grew upon her face as she saw the little paranoid human turn every which way to find an exit; the thing was, their would be no exit for him. Ever so silently she slithered down the tree, blending within her surroundings, but she knew that was not needed. She just wanted to give a surprise attack to her prey, knowing that nothing was safe, and that there was no hope.
"Shh, don't be afraid, come, play......." Those words rang through the empty forest, making everything still and frightened. Being somewhat seductive like, as well as being able to send a multitude of chills down any human spine, and maybe those not human as well. Even though her vision was a bit off, she could still see the hairs on the back of his neck rise, and the goosebumps on his arms appear. She stepped out from the brush, showing her true form. A beauty nontheless, but a very dangerous one, one that you shouldn't toy with if you value your life. A tiny smile once again appeared on her face, very chilling it could send anyone into a stage of shock. "Tell me...." She started up again, laying a hand on his arm, "....Are you frightened?" No response, but she could easily hear his heartbeat and breathing accelerate. She came up closer behind him, pressing her cheek against his neck. "You have not learned of the word fear once you have encountered me..." And in that slipt moment she ripped off her bondage, showing her eyes; her very deadly colorful eyes. When feeding her eyes would become somewhat abnormal, they would change color every second. Becoming green, blue, yellow, red, purple and many other colors in that order. Being able to scare anyone a mile away. She dug her fangs into his neck, sucking the mere life out of him. She could see his face become whiter and whiter till their was barely any living inside him at all. She dropped him, letting him hit the forest floor. A fair face he had too, what a waste. She quickly blinked her eyes over and over again, letting them get somewhat adjusted by the new food she has just gotten. She dug out a pair of sunglasses and put them on, forever being a bit hindered by her sense of sight. She felt warm liquid running from her eyes. She quickly wiped it away. Normal bloodshed tears, very ordinary after every meal. "How annoying." She gracefully walked away from him, leaving his corpse to suffer in the weather, while she will be gaining more energy by the second.

Performance Freak
Screams and shouts came as she walked from out of the darkness and into the light. Oh how she loved the circus life, even though on some days it can be trying, but it was always wonderful in the end for Misfit circus. Outcasts and freaks alike came and joined this particular circus with all of their adventures. It was completely fun to see everyone gasp as someone did a dangerous trick. To see all the awed faces and stunned expressions was simply priceless in this Misfit Circus. She smiled brilliantly as the noise only increased in sound, many of her fans knew of her, and came to see her in another death defying trick. Her blue hair swayed as she stepped forward into the spotlight, the crowd went wild now that everyone was able to see her. "Ladies and gentlemen......," began the ring leader, "....... tonight will not be just an ordinary night for Misfit Circus, or for this amazing young lady here. Tonight she will be bound and gaged from head to toe." His voice lowered down an octave as he gave a quick glance to the curtained object behind them. "With unbearable chains strapped all around this youth. And then she will be put into a thirty foot high tank full of saltwater. But I tell you ladies and gent's, she will not be alone." At that moment someone pulled off the curtain and the spotlight was drawn to it. The crowd gasped as they saw what contained the tank inside. "Yes, sharks! I give you man-eating sharks. She will be lowered into this tank, weighed down, and bound I must say, with man-eating sharks swarming around her. And she will have one minute, yes one single minute to escape. And to prove that we are not lying, we will choose two people from the audience to chain her up for fair play." She smiled as she saw the crowd eat all of this up. They all raised their hands, but the ring leader chose the two people who work for Misfit Circus to chain her up. And the sharks, only half of them were man-eating, the other half was vegetarian. And they were all trained sharks, so none of them would go after her unless their was raw meet, or blood in the tank for them to smell. She stood still as Ray and Colton began to tie her up. Feeling Ray slip a key into her hands. Next she was hooked to a line and pulled upward, then gently being lowered into the tank. "Give it up for the amazing Lakendra!!" The ring leader shouted once more. Isis rolled her eyes. It's Isis, why must you go through with that stupid stage name. She took a deep breath and splashed into the water. She opened her eyes, the salt water burning her a bit, but it was mixed with freshwater, so she was a okay, for now. She felt herself gently sway as she reached the bottom of the tank. Standing completely still she maneuvered the key through the stiff chains and locks. Counting down all the time. 47....46....45....45. When working on the last lock inconspicuously the key ran sharply along her forearm, making a cut. Her eyes widened when seeing this. She pushed off the bottom and felt the extra chains slip off of her. The crowd cheered silently, but she wasn't done yet. 31....30....29....28. Eventually her blood mixed with the saltwater, and she saw a shark coming at her. She stayed completely still, trying to figure out what to do. The shark opened it's mouth wider and wider, till it was big enough for her upper half to fit through. She drew back her arm and hit it square in the nose. It backed off and swam away, as did the other sharks when they saw what she did to the biggest one. The crowd cheered louder and waited for her to come back up. She was also running out of air fast as she made her slow ascend. Her eyes and ears and nose were burning so badly. 12....11....10....9.... She moved her arms upward trying to get out and beat her record. 7....6....5. Almost there. 4....3....2. Her head broke the surface, and she took in a fresh breath of air. She quickly climbed out of the tank and gracefully jumped down. The crowd went absolutely crazy. "With one second to spare ladies and gentlemen, one second!! Give a hand for the amazing Lakendra." She spat out any left over water and smiled once more, needing to take a break. When the show was over, she retired in the circus lounge, receiving compliments from everyone, when telling them it was no big deal. She laid down on a couch and closed her eyes, waiting for sleep to take her. "Hey, wake up. What gives you the right to relax, you almost ruined that stunt!!" Isis bolted upright and looked in surprise to see the ring leader, a.k.a. the boss, screaming at her. Her face got flustered as she looked back up at him. "I ruined nothing. It was your fault, you just had to make half of the sharks man eating. And it wasn't my fault the chains were too tight! Then I wouldn't have gotten that cut. At least I made it out alive, I could have been eaten if I hadn't thought to punch him in the effin' nose!!" He rolled his eyes and looked at her angrily. "Stop being so melodramatic. You made it out didn't you? You're alive aren't you? The thing is, future acts you're supposed to get out of there with three seconds to spare. You cut it too close. Just learn from you shitty mistakes, and do better next time, or I'll throw you out." She grunted as she watched him leave. She flopped back down on the couch and threw a pillow over her head, to tired to give her retort.

Future Fugitive
Her running only increased as the sirens got louder behind her. She was such an idiot, why didn't she check the building for iris-cams? Of course she never did think these schemes through, just look at her now, running for her life from the Gov-Cops. Ahead of her she saw kids playing around on their hover boards. Why didn't Ryde think of these things. Next time they do another heist, lets put hover boards into the equation. She dodged a warning shot and ducked while grabbing a blue hover board from under a kid. She jumped on it and began to fly higher above the ground. "Sorry, I'll bring it back!" She yelled at the kid who was staring in awe as she flew away. How was she going to return this thing, that kid might not ever see his board again. Her clock communicator switched on with a very pissed looking Ryde on the screen. "Astrixa, what the hell do you think you're doing. Failing to steal that computer chip from the government is going to lead to catastrophic outcomes. And now you have the Gov-Cops on your tail, along with a promise to a kid that you're going to somehow bring his hover board back. What is this, a get caught charity fund?!" She looked down at him, reminding herself to look up since she couldn't talk and look at him at the same time. She started to take her board off road, and into an abandoned place in the city. "Don't you go complaining about me Ryde, I almost got that chip if you hadn't meddled with the alarm system and made it go off just before I had the chip. Don't you think I already know the consequences for trespassing on government property? Oh and you just couldn't come with me, no you have to stay in your cushy computer lab to work out the kinks in the alarm system, and looked where that got us. Oh and by the way, maybe next time if you have given me a hover board beforehand, I wouldn't have to steal one in the first place."
Astrixa zoned out as Ryde made his retort, needing to be focused on where she was taking this hover board. This hover board wouldn't last long, it was only half charged and needed to be folded out into the sun to get working again. And the Gov-Cops weren't going to give her a head start. She sighed as she remembered Ryde telling her all about this computer chip. It was hard to digest at first. How the government has been storing files and trying to keep this new operation where they brought real look alike robotics into your home to do the chores and cook and clean and such. When really their just spies to make sure the government tells you what to do and you do it. And now half of the Gov-Cops on the job were really robots, so she prayed that if she did get caught, that a human would cuff her. She hated robots, always hated them. "-And so that is why we need to do this Astrixa. Astrixa!? Are you even listening to me?!" "Every word Ryde, now is there anyplace I can set this board down, It's losing energy and fast, and I think I lost the Gov-Cops." She said quickly, needing to hide. "Well, there is an old abandoned lumber factory to your right and two streets down." She nodded and muted the communicator while she followed his directions. She jumped off the board and carried it through the building. It was a good thing that the closed down all the lumber factories here. It was nice to give green a chance. She sighed as she walked around the building, now she was going to get arrested for probably treason. The government was so touchy these days, deciding to pull out that 'everyone's a traitor' trick. Quite frankly, it's annoying. What what her mom say if she knew that she would be charged for treason, maybe ground her after they give her the sentence. She snickered at the thought of it, having to do time in heaven, at least, maybe heaven. She sighed and looked down at Ryde and was about to restore the sound button when he gave off a shocked face and turned the clock communicator off. She suddenly saw a different reflection in the clock. It was one of a Gov-Cop. She tried to jump forward but the Gov-Cop already had her in a head lock. She felt the point of a gun in her back. The only good that came out of this was the sight of the Gov-Cops arm. Since their was no barcode on it, it meant that he was human, but that didn't mean she was going to give up without a fight.

One Woman on a Dead Man's Chest
Her chest raised in agony, her breathing came back to her through raspy breath's, her eyes fluttered open, her hands flew up to her neck, feeling a scar that had been cut across her jugular. She sat up, taking the first deep breath of her new life. It felt good to breathe again, to smell the fishy stench, mixed with the lone baker's sweets. It felt good to hear the ocean waves crashing down hard against the docks. It felt good to taste the salty air circling around her. It felt good to see her fellow pirates again. She slowly got up, seeing that she had been hidden near the outskirts of the loading docks. Laying face down on the grass was a middle aged man with jet black hair with the roots of his hair graying a bit. His right hand held a small dagger, with red blood tinged on it's surface. She soon smelled the rusty air of it and looked down at the pitiful man. His gray eyes stared wide open at her, as if wanting to ask her for her forgiveness. This man was her father. She drew back her foot and repeatedly kicked the man who she once called daddy. "I am not done yet." She seethed through her teeth. She sat down once more and recounted all that had happened to her.
Her father betrayed her. Bringing her out here, wanting to talk, please, even she should have been suspicious. He brought the dagger to her throat and slowly cut across it. Then, she, she died. She blinked her eyes for a second. Having trouble remembering what happened next. She gasped and stood up, if any of the other pirates found out what had happened to her, she would be exiled. She had danced with devil, she had made a deal with him to live once again. She has sealed her fate forever. Making him take the life of her father's, and restoring that life within her to live. She looked down at her hands, remembering the price she had to pay. Her hands were of a skeleton's. She could no longer feel anymore, she couldn't touch, or caress. She sighed and pulled down her gloves, so this way no one would be able to see her cursed hands. She slowly made her way back to the docks. She passed quickly through the crowds of pirates, needing to get back on the ship and sail as far away from here. She reached the ship Poseidon , and ran up on deck. Hearing the fellow jeers of her he shipmates. "Oiy, how was your father princess? A bit disappointed now was he?" Considering the tone in the pirates voice, he would want to know more of her conversation with her father. Considering that he was the first English Diplomat to see his only daughter become a pirate. "As disappointed as he'll ever be, but why should you care, he won't be bothering us anymore." Josephine replied, sighed as she helped with some of the other crew with loading the ship with supplies. "Well I'm not the one who cares, that Captain is looking for you, a bit angry that you came back late in all that, he want's to se ya." She sighed. "To hell with the Captain." She whispered to herself. She walked over the deck and knocked on the Captain's door. "You wanted to see me Captain." She said with force and an authority that only that type of a person could achieve any type of respect.

Musical Assassin
She waited high above the trees, waiting with a sort of patience that one could only learn from time. She closed her eyes and let her ears take over her. Hearing the little crickets chirp their love songs for their mates. Hearing the wind softly caress everything in its path, making the air seem crisp from the sudden dusk atmosphere. She heard the little creatures deep breathing in their underground homes, trying to sleep the night away. Her ears perked when she heard light footsteps turn into somewhat of a run. A smiled curled along her lips, her prey was on the move. She pulled out the gun that was wedged in her jeans behind her. She knew she didn't need a gun when attacking her source of money, but the government always wanted to keep it simple. She sighed and jumped from tree to tree with inhuman speed, the strength in her legs enabling her to bound from one branch to the next. She waited quietly atop another tree looking down at her next payment. It wasn't the best type of occupation to have, but she needed the money, and she was the best person to do so. Memorize the name or alias and appearance of the human or nonhuman that has meddled with the government. Find this person, which did not take long to do thanks to her demon abilities. Follow this person, learn patterns, learn his or her lifestyle, and report back to the government. Then finally when given the okay, either kill the person, kidnap them, or simply make them disappear of the face of the earth. Then collect the money and wait to be called for her next assignment.
She watched him walk through the forest. Gracefully stepping through the brush and weaving through trees. This man did catch her interest, she could easily tell that he was not human, so he may put up a fight, but he will fail in the end, as anyone who has ever encountered Celestia has always failed. She took a deep breath, being a music demon Celestia is able to know the feelings of others. But in this case, she was having trouble understanding this creature. It was hard to figure out if he was scared, annoyed, or just plain cocky. This was very unusual, normally with any creature, human or not, her abilities still worked to her greatest advantage. It has be just a mind trick or something. But this mission is just going to play out like the others, and in the end she will get her money. But on some occasions she liked the toy with her victim, or how other people say it is the same concept as playing with one's food. She aimed the gun towards the sky, knowing very well that a bullet would not suffice for this mission. She pulled the trigger and jumped out of that tree and did that four more times in different trees, making a very echoing distraction. She looked back down to find him gone. She cussed quietly and jumped down from the trees, running at an unimaginable speed through the forest, looking for him. She stopped behind a tree trunk, trying to determine whether or not he was the type of creature to come searching for his attacker, or the type that takes care of his own survival first. She closed her eyes and let her ears track him down once more. But this was different, a few seconds later she heard a click. She instantly jumped away from the tree, doing a double back flip in the air, along with the bazooka's aftershock, made the extra momentum make her sail backwards even more. She fell on her front and got up again. She saw the tree instantly in flame. She ran right in the heart of the flames, knowing that she was impervious to them. This creature wanted to play games, so be it. One on one, ability verses strength, experience verses cockiness, music demon verses whatever this creature was. She dropped her gun to the ground in the middle of the fire signaling she wanted a hand on hand combat fight. She readjusted her glasses, and stepped into a crouch, ready to spring at any moment. She was working against an equal attacker. The bazooka was only a distraction, as was her gunshots. Now did she realize what was going on, the hunter was being hunted.

Robotic Boredom
She sighed in her newly built, indestructible steel implants. But even more bored in her newly built indestructible steel cage. As if that little thing could hold her. If she wanted to, with a snap of her fingers it could crumble within her hands. But she didn't want to, it would be too easy, she wanted a challenge. Her actual name was 078JAK09, or simply the Jakill Files. But she called herself Jakkie, it had a nice ring to it, and the recent surgery she went through gave her a new personality. She just liked her new self. She whistled to herself as her super sonic ears heard the surgeons, government officials, and her parents talking about her two floors down within the building. A smile crept along her lips as their conversation intensified. "She is a danger to everyone around her, she must be held within this facility, so we can protect others who may encounter her." Said one of the surgeons. "My Elisabeth wouldn't hurt a fly, take her home with us. The operation was a success, and she is better, she will adapt to her own lifestyle and everything will be back to normal." Her rich mother whispered, as if knowing her own daughter was eavesdropping on them. "I believe she prefers Jakkie now dear." Her father replied just as quiet. She heard her mother sobbing a bit, as if already realizing that her old Elisabeth was forever gone. "Someone of her talents could be used for the greater good of the government. Maybe even the military. She would be a great addition to Area 51. And with engineering that she contains, we could set our whole army like her. She could be used to our advantage." The official paused for a moment, letting what he just said sink in. "You will not touch a single hair on my baby, she will not be used towards anyone's advantage. She is not some type of freak to be used for your own personal gain." Her mother continued, feeling that in a way she needs to protect her daughter. Two floors up, Jakkie burst out laughing, oh how little her mother knew, they haven't even seen her. For all she knew she was a full fledged, killing freak. "I'll take care of this one." Their was a new voice here, she stopped laughing and listened intently. "Who are you?" Asked a surgeon. "I am the person who owns this building. I have dealt with similar cases like these before. How, in some way, people are altered and this specific facility has to deal with them. I now pronounce myself in full power of this operation, and will do whatever it takes to detain this beast from public harm." There were objections as this man left the room and took the elevator two floors up. Mostly came from the parents and surgeons, it seemed as if the government put this man in charge. The door to her room burst open, a sneer appeared upon her face. She stood up within her cage, knowing that this was not the type of man to toy with. He quickly came at her, big mistake. She pried open the bars and lashed at his face with her new claws. He grunted and grabbed her face, her face being the only part of her body that had any flesh left. He quickly injected a green liquid into her face. He had a type of wild frenzy in his eyes, as three long, bloody lashes now scarred his pretty face. "Jackass." She slurred as she hit the ground with a thud; feeling herself lose consciousness as she started forming an escape plan.

Another Princess Story?
When do you realize that your dead? Is it something you feel, something you experience, or just something that you watch? Does death come to you personally, or does it send a greeting card saying 'Come to my underworld, we're waiting'? I guess the world has posed many questions of what death is and what becomes of you. Though, Evangeline seems to be the only one who knows what happens when you find your soul leaving you body eternally. But, I guess you would never know that you'd live to tell the world afterwards about your experience being dead.
Her eyes fluttered open, feeling the ache occur everywhere in her body. What had happened, where was she? No recognition could be stirred from where she was at. Because right now, she was in nothing. Nothing, absolutely nothing. She knit her eyebrows together and struggled to get up, her limbs were screaming, her muscles tensing up. She was overcome with fatigue, but she knew that she must get up. The place where she was was all white, nothing more. It was like having a light shine in your face, but instead of your eyes seeing black, she was seeing white. It reminded her of being on a blank canvas, were ideas were made. She took a step forward and was overcome with dizziness, she caught herself instead of falling. Her skirt swishing along with her legs. Her walking continued, but with every step she made with her combat boots, there was no echo. There was no sound, she tried to speak, her vocal chords were gone. She continued walking, not letting her body be overcome by shock. It was endless, it felt like hours were passing, yet you had no way of knowing time. Time, this place was timeless. When would this dream end, or more like this nightmare. This couldn't be real, how could you be in nothing? She must be going mad, what other solution was there? Where was her family, where was the little, warm cottage, that always smelled of fresh baked cookies? Where was her sister Lucie? Only twelve years old, not knowing where her older sister was. Where were her simple skinny jeans, blue high-tops, and plain white t-shirt? Instead wearing a corset over her torso, and have a black lacy skirt with combat boots. Where was her favorite book, A Tale of Two Cities, have gone to? So many questions, yet no answers.
She sighed, feeling so miserable. That was when she saw it. Out off into the distance, there was no mistaking that something of the nonwhite color was there. She began running, still not being able to hear her footsteps. She looked behind her, wanting to know if there was any nonwhite color behind her. All she saw was a white background, and a pair of black wings. She screamed, yet nothing could be heard. She ran forward even faster. Getting closer to the object, and closer.... She was suddenly standing in front of an old wooden door. It looked like it had been weaken over the years, but over the years in a timeless place? That didn't make sense. At the very top of the door, the word Crossroads were written in black curvy letters. She raised her eyebrow. Things were getting stranger by the second, not to mention the whole wing sprouting problem that she has yet to deal with. She tentatively went towards the door, resting a hand on the doorknob. She threw it open. A sigh of relief had came over her when she heard the door creak. There was sound again. She stepped through the door and into a dark forest. She could see the moon high above the trees, it was getting dimmer and dimmer. It was almost dawn. She looked down to see an apple and a book. She picked up the book, it was her Tale of Two Cities book. She then picked up the apple, someone had taken a bite out of it. "If I am Snow White, then who has awaken me from my slumber?" She whispered, hearing her voice crack. She heard rustling behind her. At least ten people were here, smiling so proudly at her. "Princess Aja, we have found you at last." Said one of them. She dropped the apple in surprise. This was no Snow White story. She was Alice, who had just dropped down the rabbit hole into another world.
