Today I learned a lot about how you are to pick guys. Weird enough I have been watching a lot of shows like 20/20, Nightline, Dateline, and 60 minutes. I watch and learn about these relationships where girls are abused and even killed. While I watch I think "there isn't any guys around here like that!" That changed today.
My friend invited me to go watch the fireworks with her at the nearby park. We wanted to invite are guy friend he is a really good guy and we haven't seen him since school ended which was almost a month ago. He was hanging out with some of his friends so we said hey why not the more the merrier you know.
When I met them I realized that there are bad guys out there. These kids were downright sick minded and just vulgar in every way. I didn't think people like them actually lived close to me and were friends with my guy friend. Also it wasn't just them being bad it was my guy friend. He was always nice in school he would never just get all sick minded on my friends like the way he did today.
I don't know what to do exactly about this whole situation I know I am not going to hang out with him for the rest of the summer I don't feel safe or comfortable if he is around especially if he were to ever mention his friends. Well I guess that's the beauty of everyone going to different schools now. I will not have to deal with him or see any of his so called "friends". The thing I am thankful for right now is that the guy I like isn't like that I know if he were to actually ever like me back I would be safe. I wouldn't have to worry about trying to get away from him or anything if we were to break up or go through a rough time and if I went on a date with him he would be very kind gentleman and make sure to go to all the right places to ensure our safety.
At least now I know how to make good choices.
