NOT-SO-BRIEF NOTES ON POWER/GENE SPLICE
Remy was accidentally genespliced with a Sordes Pterosaur when his airheaded sister dragged him with her to be modded against their parents' knowledge. He -meant- to be spliced with a rabbit, as rabbits are his secret animal weakness, but the doctors goofed up and mistakenly spliced him with one of the newly arrived experimental batches of extinct animal DNA. They meant to keep him under watch because as of then he was the only one to have an extinct organism mod, though once the terrorist attacks began, that was temporarily suspended.
As a result of the mod, Remy's teeth are pointed, and he has a long, thin tail ending in a feather-like structure.
The mod gave him no 'special' abilities at all, forcing him to rely on being tiny and having sharp teeth during a skirmish... though the splice is not the stablest of things, and so anything could happen as he continues to live with it.
DETAILED PERSONALITY
Being raised by two rich, intelligent assholes, Remy grew up to be an incredible smartass. He's oddly mature for his age, and -loves- to point out when an adult is acting more like a kid than he is. He learned the art of snappy comebacks from both watching his parents argue, -and- arguing with his parents himself.
He's also a bit snobby, and if things are not to his standards, he'll probably complain a lot, or try to fix them himself if he can. He also refuses to be on friendly terms with somebody who is not up to par (in his opinion).
He likes showing off and bragging. Everyone has to know that he's the best!!
Gets very miffed when people mispronounce his last name. "Uh, it's 'more-BEAU' not 'more-BUCKS,' thanks."
REMY'S PAST
Remy's parents and older sister moved from England to the US a few years before he was born. His mother got a job as a history professor at the local university, and his father, who had been working in the medical field back in Europe, got qualified to give mechanical organ transplants.
A few days before his 12th birthday, his 17 year old sister, who was the airheaded oddball of the family, took him out to get modded with her as a birthday gift. He wanted rabbit genes, but they messed up and spliced him with a Pterosaur. His sister got what she wanted, and they came home to some very unamused parents. A week later, his sister's body rejected the splice, and she landed in the hospital.
Once the terrorist attacks began, Remy was discovered through his father, and Remy, wanting to prove his worth, agreed to help the government out.
