DETAILED PERSONALITY
Quincy prides himself on his intelligence, even going so far as to believe it makes him superior to typical people. He was always at the top of his class, and had only a few friends growing up because he dedicated more time to studying than going out.
He considers talking to those not as intelligent or as dedicated as himself 'condescending,' and dislikes having to do it too often. If you're dumb, or lazy, Quincy probably wants nothing to do with you.
He's incredibly manipulative, and a skilled liar. He knows just the right twist to put on his words, and fancies himself verrrry persuasive. Sees people as toys, and has a fondness for playing around with them. Also lacks a basic sense of empathy, and is almost totally unable to 'put himself in someone else's shoes.'
It's hard to seriously upset him, but he becomes mildly annoyed or frustrated with people easily, and often barks or snaps at the source of irritation without warning.
He believes he can do no wrong, and on the occasion he does ******** up, he prefers using something, or someone, else as a scapegoat. He absolutely avoids admitting his mistakes and/or displaying his faults whenever possible.
He hates feeling weak or powerless, and if he's knocked off his high horse, he will do anything to get back onto it.
QUINCY'S PAST
Quincy was born with a very hungry mind, and his parents gladly indulged, buying him books of all subjects and genres, enough to fill shelves upon shelves. He was always the most attentive in class, always finished his tests first, always did every little bit of his homework. He was the geek with only one or two equally geek friends; the nerd who studied instead of going to the mall or playing soccer after school; the scrawny little teacher's pet who never got in trouble because he always sucked up. His peers tormented him all throughout school, but he paid them no mind, regarding them as nothing but ants he'd perhaps one day smash under his thumb.
His parents worried that he may have been spending too much time studying and not enough time enjoying life, but he'd have none of it, and eventually they gave up trying to force him out of his room. He rarely even came out to eat, skipping any meal that wasn't brought to him. With all the time he spent on schoolwork, it came as no surprise to him that he was to be Valedictorian for his graduating class... though when he went to break the news to the one person he was able to stand, and who was able to stand him, that person ended up confessing that he wasn't able to deal with being 'that person Quincy brags to all the time' and didn't feel like keeping in touch with him anymore.
Quincy, being the arrogant little d**k that he was, was more upset than he'd ever been in his life. The -one- person in the entire world he -trusted- and -respected- was turning his back on him, and whose fault was it? Not his, his 'friend's,' of course. His friend had just gotten weak, and hadn't been able to keep up! He was just like all the rest, a disgusting pig who didn't even deserve a -glance- from somebody as grand as Quincy! Nobody in this world was worthy-- this world itself wasn't worthy!
His negative emotions became so strong, they opened a portal to the nightmare city of Caeglla, and he was dragged into its depths. There, he quickly cast away his humanity and became a denizen of the city, rising to the top with domination of the entire dimension in mind.
RELATIONSHIPS
- He finds Astrid incredibly immature, and can't stand her temper tantrums.
Benji pisses him off.
He created TVDog by bringing a regular dog from Earth into Caeglla and letting it be influenced by the city's corruption. It acts as his spy, and is able to wirelessly transmit anything it sees and hears back to a television in Quincy's mansion.
OTHER s**t
Upon becoming a denizen, he forgot his last name, along with most of his human memories. However, if anything triggers him to remember anything he's forgotten, he falls into a temporary state of illness he has termed 'memory sickness.'
Has the ability to turn lower-class denizens into mindless beasts that he then keeps chained up as pets.
Lives in a grand-a** mansion. One of the rooms, filled with artificial lighting, houses a single peach tree-- the only known uncorrupted Earth plant in the entirety of the city, and maybe even the dimension.
His hair and eyes used to be brown, but they changed when he became a denizen.
