Well, this entry is more for me than for anyone else. It's a memory I want to save, because I don't have a camera.

Here's a little back story: My mother and I are looking at the Seattle Art Institute in Washington to see if I like the college and we left kind of late from home and got to Seattle in the dark.

As we drove in, we looked down on a river of orange and white lights, snaking below us in the dark. There were several bridges along the way, each under a skyscraper. The skyscrapers were like mountains of little light squares, or gargantuan trees... posts of light that reached toward the sky (hence, skyscrapers)

And in this sea of lights, there was the Space Needle. Like a strange bone sticking out of the flesh of the city. It was more beautiful than the description warrants, but it's the only way to describe how that pale, lit spear pointed out of the mass of little lights below.
