So for a second time in a month's span I get "banned" (dropped) from the same giantess guild. You would think oh a person getting dropped deserves it or did something wrong to earn one. No. The reason for the drop is lack of activity. Are you serious?!
I show my support a guild by just being a member and taking time out to join it is having pretty much my endorsement and blessing of a good respectable guild that other people should check out. Sure I may not have time to post or visit but there are no reasons to remove someone for not being active.
I mean, giantess guilds are dead on gaia for a clear cut reason. Anything on a gts guild can be done (sometimes better) outside of one. Pictures? Other sites with way more uploads/contributions. Stories? There's tons on other sites. RolePlay? Taken to pm most of the time.
Honestly the only reason why a giantess guild is needed is the group roleplay factor. Anything more than that is a waste of time and space. More so if it's private or hidden as it does NOTHING to promote macro fetish in a good light.
So removing people who aren't active in a guild does what exactly? In my view it shows that there are less fans to the theme than there really are. (36 people as of now and more than half of them are the same faces I've seen on other guilds before already anyway. -no disrespect to the members but it is a fact that there aren't many new members-)
The one that dropped me mainly offers roleplay as it's main attraction with little attention paid to art/artists/ect. I'm sorry but not everyone is keen on doing a rp. I may have my bug rp but I am far from traditional. I do not make paragraph long posts or follow any set storyline. So my lack of a post in the guild only meant that I have yet to find a way to introduce myself in my own style.
Seeing this bad (active members ONLY) trend be a part of 2 gts guilds out there leads me to believe they are hungry for attention and not respect or trust from it's members. No one tells the guild owner to send 10+ announcements a month wasting their gold on frivolous and sometimes annoying posts. "make a post saying you read this announcment or be dropped" is the single most useless purpose for guild announcments.
In closing, in a way I'm glad I'm not a part of such active member only enforcement gts guilds anymore. I joined a foot fetish guild that ironically has more activity than the gts guild I'm out of. I didn't have to post there either but when I did it was because I enjoyed it and was ready to. stare
