I've been getting a disproportionate number of guild invites lately...and I've turned down every single one.

I have a good reason! In fact, that's why I'm making this post-from now on, when I get an invite, I'll just post a link to this journal entry. So if you're just browsing my crap, you might want to skip this bit, as it's sort of boring. Okay, here it goes.
I'm not a people person.
I do not like teams. I do not like prolonged teamwork. I do not like being obligated to do anything or represent anyone besides myself. I don't care if it's a low-maintanence guild, once a week posting, whatever. I'm inconsistent. I get bored of Gaia and don't log on for weeks, if not more. I account-hop. I have rude days. I don't want to let a bunch of strangers down because I don't donate money to the guild bank. I AM A CONTROL FREAK. I will criticize your members for bad grammar. I don't do "guild activities." I'm not a great teammate.
I have my friends, my zOMG crews, whatever, but I just don't understand the point of guilds. I love helping new players, but I don't want to join a guild, because tomorrow I'll be reporting misplaced newbie threads for removal. I love critiquing writing, but tomorrow I'll have read so much emo crap that I'll be unable to type a sentence without flaming. I love FMA and Terry Pratchett, but I'm not supporting them with Gaian rallies or whatever. If these sound like excuses...it's because they are.
Bottom line?
I'm really, really, really, really....reallyreallyreallyreally...REALLY EXTREMELY INCREDIBLY *deep breath*

Don't take it personally, you're a great person for considering adding me to a guild. It's not you, it's me. Seriously. And I will help your guild. I could advertise it if you want. I'll gladly be a third party moderator for disputes. I can bump your thread, maybe. But I'll get bored with teamwork, eventually. If it's a great idea, a genius concept I can really get behind and PUSH, then I might join. But, if it's just another zOMG guild for Deadman's Pass or something, no. I'm not into that sort of "what do we stand for, really?" thing. I don't like clubs. I want to be a free drifter, quietly infiltrating every corner or Gaia and planting the seeds of chaos that I might hasten the approach of my rule over all uh...spreading happiness and universal love everywhere and anywhere. I am not a regular. I am not a guilder. I am a lurker, people.
