Dear, dear diary... I want to tell my secrets...
Who knows what the entry will be next? Poetry, profiling, tekteking, talking about me, random moments, things I'll never say... Ah, it's just a mish-mash in here. Seriously.
RPC - The Gold Forge Midas
Name: Midas.

Age: Known to be centuries old. Her appearence is somewhere in the range of late teens to late twenties.

Gender: Female.

Sexual Orientation: Apparently straight.

Race: Human Soul / Gold Forge.

Distinctive Markings: There aren't many distinctive marking on Midas, she is easily recognised by her golden greeting, however. Her wise, mystical sounding tone is also one of her prominent features. She also has bright emerald eyes when in the supposed form of the mage's daughter, and a slight golden tint to her skin, noticeable when the light catches it, it shimmers somewhat.

Human Appearence: Midas' appearence is strictly of beauty. She appears fragile. Like a centuries old ornament, kept out of reach due to fear of fracture. Graceful to the step, and mystical to the tone. Her hair a golden flowing blonde, always in perfect condition, her skin shimmers with gold flake. Her lips a gentle red and her body a beautiful temple, only compareable to a Goddess or that of a desire demon. Her skin is cold, like metal to the touch, often her expression appears emotionless, she rarely smiles. Her body is adorned with an ornate golden dress. She also bares a golden necklace, an anklet and shoes to match. Her nails appear to be made of the same material she, herself, was forged from, resembling short talons.

Personality: Midas in one word would be nobility. She radiates grace and stature in all situations. Everything from the steps she takes to the caress she gives. Her tone mystical, beautiful in a sense. Often, however, she appears cold. Due to the fact she was not born with a sense of emotion, she has learned what she can of human feelings over the years she has existed. She is virgin and innocent in many ways, although she never shows bashfulness. She has never experienced love beyond that of her friends, whom she has always outlived. She has a curiosity for the world and everything in it, examining objects closely, even humans and other beings, reading them like books more often than not. Although, a human's sense of heightened emotion does confuse her, sometimes. She knows what a feeling is, but she often doesn't understand it. Even when she feels things herself, happiness, sadness, joy, warmth, cold, friendship, love, hatred, she gets frightened and thinks herself abnormal, thinking of herself as plagued with illness. Being touched is also something that is alien to her, although fascination occurs upon meeting anyone, if they try to touch her, she often attempts to shy away, unless the being doing the touching has made her feel comfortable, or she suspects there to be a background to it which she would understand. Beneath everything she radiates, she is a calm being, taking solace in other elemental or mythical beings.

Background: Midas is the outcome of a mage's sorrow.
She is a forge, an enchantment of sorts.
Centuries ago, there was a mage whom had a daughter. This daughter of his had unfortunately grown ill after a horrible heartbreak when she lost her husband to the trials of war. Heavy with child, the beautiful young woman ended her life, unable to take the sorrow which blackened her heart. This, obviously, tore the mage apart. He had lost a daughter and due to this, he began to research immortality and bringing beings back to life. He stumbled upon the fact that a human soul could be knitted into a material, like water, or fire, or plant, or metal. So, he gathered the necessary materials, learned the spell to join the particles, dead and undead, to create this immortal being. Midas was the outcome.
She was created from pure gold, the soul of the mages daughter was knitted into the melted metal, and up rose the body of a beautiful young woman from the forge. At first, she appeared to be nothing but a statue. She was still and dead for many, many days. The mage grew elderly, and still nothing had changed of this statue. He considered himself a failure, unable to bring his dead daughter back to life. It was only on his deathbed that his efforts and sorrows were rewarded however. The gold spilled off the beautiful maiden's body, and spread across the floor. A human form, naked and anew, stepped forth. What was left of the mage's daughter's form joined him at his bedside, and saw him into death. The entity combined with the gold, however, survived. Thought to be the mage's daughter. But the girl's characteristics were different. She wasn't frivilous and bold like the mage's daughter had been, she wasn't even like the mage's daughter's husband in any way. She was simply herself.
This being became known as Midas, she gained her name after her true talents were revealed. She was of a liquid material, wherever she wished to appear, liquid gold would be the first formation. It would appear out of nowhere, pouring in windows and doors, even through cracks in walls, it would take up the form of a woman, the woman being Midas herself, then shatter and disappear. Revealing the supposed form of the mage's daughter, human once more. Although, it was clear she was not.
Centuries passed and Midas was free, she wandered the earth. Seeking nothing more but to survive. She discovered that she had nothing more than a metal heart, so she could not die. Immortal as she was. She apparently had no feelings either, she took no solace nor sorrow in anything she ever did. She lived for herself, gaining friends along the way, although they would die before she ever would. And she knew this.
Her first sight of her own blood came when an Evangelist against dark arts tried to kill her, he shrieked when she appeared and drew his sword, delving it straight into the right side of Midas' chest. She, however, felt no pain. It was not a crimson flow that appeared, however, it was golden. And it burned, clear as day that it was gold. Midas did not kill the man whom had tried to end her life, she melted into her golden form and fled. The man stood in shock, leaving soonafter to inform his heirarchies, or so it is suspected.
