Departure to a new world
A hard wack to her back awoke her suddenly. Someone was opening the door that she was accidently blocking. ‘Ow! Ok I’m moving!’ She whined stepping out of the way. “Stupid dog....” Mumbled Jennifer as she stepped out on the porch and straightened a plaid skirt that reached her thighs. “Move!” She commanded toward Wolfena. ‘Aren’t you the nicest thing. Ever heard of please?’ Wolfena thought with a growl as she got out of the teenager’s way.
Jennifer waved a happy hand to a blonde-haired jock who was dressed in a white shirt with some slutty girl logo. “Hey, babe! Ready?” He asked trying to be macho. Wolfena just rolled her eyes and turned away to head inside. She slipped inside before the door could close altogether. The smell of burning bacon reached her nose when she walked into the kitchen. Aunt Marge was cooking over the metal stove, Susan was sitting at the table playing with her dolls and it seemed Milo was still asleep. “Wolfena! Where you been?! I was worried!” Susan yelled as she spotted her staring at Aunt Marge. Susan dropped her dolls and leaped for Wolfena.
‘I rather take the yelling than the choking...’ Wolfena tried escaping the little girl’s tight grasp. “Bad dog for disappearing like that! I’m going to lock my door for now on!” Susan let go of Wolfena and went to pick up her fallen doll. ‘There is no lock on that door, all you can do is close it. And I was only gone around a day, or two...’ Wolfena laid by Susan’s chair, as to wait for the day to be over with.
“How many eggs you want, sweety?” Aunt Marge asked as she flipped the sizzling bacon over. “One please! You want me to wake Milo?” She asked sweetly. “You can tell him, I doubt that boy will get up.” She answered with a sigh. Susan began knocking loudly on Milo’s door who was non-pleasant when he awoke. “What?!” he commanded. “Breakfast is done. What do you want?” She kept her sweet tone even when Milo glared at her. “Like I care....I’ll be out later.” he sighed and closed the door in her face. ‘Isn’t he a gentleman? Closing the door on a kid’s face sure is the nicest thing.’ Wolfena stated, still laying under the chair. “Milo says he’ll be out later.” Susan said as she skipped over the Aunt Marge for her plate.
Breakfast was filled with laughing and Susan even slipped Wolfena some pieces of bacon now and again. It was only Aunt Marge and Susan at the table, and Milo was still in his room. Wolfena laid under the kitchen table, half paying attention to their conversation above. ‘A week...that will give me time to try to shift again. Least I know that I am a lycanthrope and I can be human again....least for a little while.’ She told herself.

The week seemed to crawl for Wolfena as she waited, putting up with the family during the day and sneaking during the day to try to shape-shift. Her attempts still failed but yet Wolfena still held on to her hope. The day finally arrived when Zero was ready to depart and take Wolfena with him.

Before sneaking out, she left a sloppy not she wrote, with pencil in mouth, that Wolfena had been taken and will be returned later. A small excuse so the family had a reason for Wolfena being missing, even though they would be worried anyways. Wolfena left the note on the porch, just beside the door under a small pot so it won’t blow away. She then made her way toward’s the park to meet up with Zero.
As promised, he was standing near the two trees where they first met. He smiled as he seen her approaching. “You ready?” he asked watching her. ‘Yeah. I’m ready’ She answered taking in a breath as she calmed her nervous-self. “This way then, so no one will see us.” Zero began walking toward the back of the park where very few people were, and took out a small disc-like object. Wolfena watching in curoisity as he pressed some buttons on the transparent blue disc with buttons. “Still banged up some...but Leo can fix it once I get back.” He said aloud as he tempered with his small machine.
“Leo? Who’s he and what exactly is that?” She asked, still watching him. “Oh, this is a teleporter that will get us to the other worlds, however when I ended up here something got messed up here, so it’s harder to control the destination throughly. Leo is a brilliant friend of mine, you might can meet him later.” He explained as he pressed one button that made a transparent image hover above. The image was of some landscape that Wolfena never seen before. Zero then looked at her. “Are you sure, you’re ready?” Wolfena nodded her head in response. “Ok then, hold on.” Pressing another button there was a giant flash of light that consumed Zero and Wolfena, vanishing them from this dimension to another. A consuming bright white light took over Wolfena's vision which made her black out.

‘Uh,wh-where am I?’ Wolfena opened her eyes to find herself stranded in some kind of forest. These trees were unfamiliar to her and held a reddish bark. She got to her feet and shook her head in pain. ‘Zero? Zero! Where are you?!’ she barked looking frantically around. Only the cool wind answered her. She let out a small whine as she tried walking through the thick bushes that were tall as she is.
After awhile of walking endlessly through the forest, Wolfena came to a large white rock that took the shape of an eye. ‘What a weird rock....it looks like it’s watching me. Creepy....’ she stated as she sat down in front of it, staring as it stared at her. Wolfena was locked in it’s gaze for a few minutes before turning away.
“The eye of truth. Says to see what others cannot.” Said a voice behind Wolfena. ‘Wh-what? Who said that?’ Wolfena turned only to face the eye rock once again. “Up here, wolf mutt!” The voice was now over Wolfena’s head. Looking up she came face-to-face to a small imp creature.
It had a demonish-body with bat wings and the size no bigger than an infant child. It’s eyes were a greyish color and it’s skin seemed furry as a bat. ‘Who are you?’ Wolfena finally asked as she stopped staring at the unusual creature. “Name’s Tylon. Loyal watchmen of Lady Shyra of the wolf kingdom. And you must be the wolf, Elinora trusted with the treasured bracelet. Not much of a sight....” Tylon flew down to face Wolfena. He stared at her in deep thought. ‘What do you want and who is this Lady sheara?’ Wolfena backed up cautious of the imp. “It’s Lady Shyra! Sh-I-rah! Show some respect!” He commanded his impish face showing anger. ‘S-sorry! I didn’t mean anything, I’m just confused. What is this place and what do you want with me?’ Wolfena took another step back.
“I’m your mentor and you are in the Forest of Truth.....well half truth. Stupid mortals will believe anything.” Wolfena watched the imp in curiosity as he flew over to the rock eye. ‘what do you mean, mentor? You never answered me.’ Wolfena growled as her confidence returned. Tylon glanced back at her in annoyance. “Do you know nothing of the past of the bracelet you hold? Ignorance can’t save you. Ignorant mutt.” Wolfena let out a fiercer growl at his remark. ‘No I don’t know anything! All I know that it cursed me into this form and it killed my family! So if I’m ignorant then so be it! But don’t you DARE insult me!’ Wolfena revealed her sharp fangs. Tylon showed no signs of fear and just laughed instead. “You think I’m afraid of you? I’m going to have my work cut out for me. Lady Elinora did this on purpose just to annoy me.” Tylon took a glance at Wolfena. “I doubt you know how to defend yourself. Why did she pick a teenage girl anyway?” Wolfena stopped her growling. ‘What the hell are you talking about?’ She asked watching the imp talk to himself.
“None of your business and the fact your mortal brain wouldn’t handle, so go and play somewhere while I think on where to start.” Tylon said just before he disappeared into the air. Only a small grey smoke was what was left. ‘Hey! I still don’t understand! What do you want? And I don’t play!’ She growled staring at the spot he disappeared. ‘What the hell you looking at you weird rock?’ She rhetorically asked the Eye of Truth Rock that still watched her. ‘I gotta find Zero, maybe he knows who the imp was.’

Hours of walking, Wolfena couldn’t find Zero nor a way out of the thick forest and her paws were getting tired. She stopped to rest at a large tree, leaning her back up against it as she began looking around. ‘Damn, how long is this forest? The one next to my house isn’t even this long or thick... great what’s worse than being a wolf lost in a weird forest as this one? Easy, a wolf lost in a weird forest in another dimension alone.’ Wolfena let out a sigh and raised up once again to start walking. ‘Now, which way to go?’ she asked searching the trees all around her. ‘This is not happening...I can’t remember what direction I came from and headed. Dangit!’ Wolfena began to growl at herself, annoyed as she realized she was now officially lost.
She tried sniffing the air and ground to maybe find a familiar scent, but everything smelled the same to her and the ground was to pact with dirt and covered in reddish leaves to leave in footprints behind. ‘Wow, some wolf I am...heh I wonder if any others got lost like this? Well I was human first... human...” Wolfena began to trail off as she remembered her past. A loud obnoxious laughing over heard snapped her out of her memories. Looking up, was a large crow perched on a low branch of the tree she was standing next to.
“Baka, baka, baka” It called as it was taunting her. ‘Baka? Don’t you mean kaw or something? What a strange place this is.’ Wolfena watched the strange crow longer as it kept repeating the strange verse and laughing it’s obnoxious crow-laugh. It finally fluttered it’s black feathered wings and took off the direction away from Wolfena. She watched it fly overhead as it became a black dot in the sky. ‘Guess I go this way then, what strange creature will I see next? A griffin maybe? Ha, well might lend me some wings to escape this place.’ Wolfena spoke in her sarcastic tone as she started walking in the same direction the crow flew.
