I am on a mission to show people that life is not as difficult as you first believe. After you read this you will either believe me, or you won't. You know as well as I do that after you decide, I cannot sway your decision. Life is just a road, with many turns and bumps. The key is to stand up proud and tall after you fall down. Life is only as hard as you make it. I am proof of this theory. If you know gabriella777 and you have read her journal, I wrote that entry about how great a friend she is. And how much I missed her when she left me behind. I tore myself up inside, hating myself. I made life so hard and difficult. I would lose my appetite and not eat for days. I would not sleep and I would go into fits of depression. And after a while of this, I started to develop mood swings. I remember very clearly the night that my sister came to me in a very memorable dream. She sat down on my bed, sang me a song, and pressed a cold kiss on my forehead. I knew after that moment what was happening to me was the product of self-hatred. I knew that I didn't hate myself, and I knew I didn't hate the people around me. After that night, I changed. I began to eat, sleep, and have regular moods. I know now that life shouldn't be a vast eternity that you spend hating yourself. After a while you grow comfortable with being yourself, and feeling free to do so around others. So now you see that life, no matter how tragic, can become filled with joy and happiness. I am telling my story to be an influence on someone else who has had a tragic tale to tell, or is also unwell. Live strong and do not be afraid to be yourself! So, do you believe me, or not? wink
