Will had to be bandaged in many places, but he was fortunate enough to keep all of his limbs. Capt. Deep sat next to him on her bed, saying to him, “You will sleep here until you can move on your own once again.”
“No, Rina, I want you to be comfortable.” He said, trying to sit. His wounds were painful enough to keep him from walking.
“I told ye to sleep here.” Capt. Deep said. “I slept in the crewmates’ quarters before I was captain of me own ship and was comfortable, so I’ll be just as happy now.”
Will smiled at her. “I thought the crew was to vote on everything that happened on a ship?”
“Will, this is something everybody would want for you.” Capt. Deep said. “Now go to sleep; you’re going to need your rest after all.”
