Well, on Saturday, I went to this Wiccan healing circle with my cousin at her friend's house.
It was an eye opener for my spirituality. It made me think of what I believe in and who I want to be. There were about nine people there (including me), and they were so open and loving that made it feel... Regular. Like, I was suppose to be there. Anyway, it wasn't like a "up-tight, serious, no bullshit" kind of thing. It was a clam and refreshing cleansing ritual. They other people were laughing and having a good time. I meet them before, and it still felt wonderful to be in their presence.
For those who are wondering what Wicca (witchcraft) is about... Let me explain...
First off, the main misconception with Wicca is the total idiotic idea of witches worshiping Satin (The Devil). It is NOT true. Actually, Satin is not even apart of the Wiccan religion. According to the Christian faith, he's an angel that was kicked-out of Heaven and all that other stuff in the bible. Well, in our books/stories/history there is nothing about the Satin or the worship of him. Wicca is a loving religion. We have open arms and hearts for everyone/thing. We wish or do no harm to others, we heal and love.
And a spell, is basically a prayer. Mixed in with some candles, herbs and other stuff to make it stronger. And all the ridiculous stories about "They put a curse on me!" are lies. We do and/or will not harm you, unless you really harm us.
If you any questions or concerns feel free to PM!
Until next time....
