Memento Mori

For the Record

People seem to be under the strange impression that my allowance in someone using their overpowered attack on me means that the attack is fair to use on everybody else. I hate to burst people's bubbles, but this is not the case. There is a difference between letting someone use an overpowered attack and telling someone that the attack is legal. With the amount of MSN spam and PMs I'm recieving about this issue, it is clear that very few people know this difference, and I am now officially ticked off.

Yes. I do value the T1 ruleset immensely. Anyone could see that after the monster of a guide I created to teach it. However, it is merely an extension of one of two factors that govern my combat roleplay - fairness' and the other 'flow'. However, I am not going to get on your a** by breaking minor T1 rules because I understand that, in places where winning is favored over roleplaying, people are going to naturally overlook things.

Now, the second factor that governs my combat roleplay is "flow." I hate watching a good combat roleplay degenerate into OOC bitching because I decide to point out that so-and-so minor T1 rule is broken. There is no point; it ruins the fun for everyone, so I keep shut about it unless asked. However, break a core tenant like no auto-hitting, and I'll be sure to tell you all about it.

Furthermore, I do not give critiques on a roleplay fight unless it is asked of me. This applies to combat roleplays I participate in, combat roleplays I watch, and combat roleplays people tell me. However, if someone asks my opinion about a fight, I will give it in the most polite way possible. After all, there's no real point in hiding my opinion because most of my acquaintances and friends probably know where my T1 guide is located and reference it as my opinion. And guess what; IT IS.

The T1 Guide is my official stance on any combat roleplay issue.

(If the guide does not address it, you probably need my opinion for my stance.)

For those of you who know me but have no clue what I'm talking about:

The T1 Combat Guide

Yes, those are the official rules of T1 as researched.

The moral learned? Just because someone allows an attack to be used does not mean that person finds it legal. Thank you. Now stop bugging me.
