Vanessa and Sasuke went through the dense forest quietly.
Sasuke: How far north is ‘North’?
Vanessa: Shut up we’ll get caught.
Sasuke: Oh man. I thought that she was a nice quiet type of person.
They walked for a while in silence, and soon reached a river. The sun was hidden behind the dull gray clouds. A gust of wind blew across the two travelers.
Sasuke: Brrrr!! It’s getting colder as you go higher up North!
Vanessa: It’s your fault that you didn’t wear a jacket.
Sasuke: So now what do we do?
Vanessa: Go up the river, baka.
Meanwhile…. 15 miles up the river…
Naruto: How long is this river! We’ve been walking for hours!
Sakura: Obviously it’s very long Naruto! Ugh, my feet are so wet and sore!
Naruto: H-hey Sakura-chan.
Sakura: What is it Naruto?
Naruto: N-never mind.
Sakura: Come on, Naruto, you can tell me any – woah!
Sakura slips on the water and is thrown backwards and down the river., dragging Naruto along with her.3
Naruto: SAKURA-CHAN!!!!
Sakura: Naruto-kun! Help me!
Naruto runs and grabs onto Sakura’s hand before she drifts any further.
Naruto: Are you okay Sakura-chan?
Sakura: Y-yes Naruto.
Naruto: Get on my back.
Sakura: Why Naruto?
Naruto: I can carry you up until we reach land again.
Sakura: Really Naruto? Thank you! 3nodding
Back to Sasuke and Vanessa.
Sasuke: It’s getting late. We should stop and –
Vanessa: No. It’s easier to travel at night. Unless you can sleep walk, don’t fall asleep.
Sasuke: I’m never going on another mission with her. I bet Naruto and Sakura are resting. Next time, I taking Sakura.
The sky was dark and the moon was out. The stars shined brightly through the clouds. Vanessa found an empty cave as to which she and Sasuke would be spending the night.
Vanessa: What are you waiting for? Start the fire.
Sasuke: I’m working on it… stressed
Vanessa: Good. Better be done by the time I come back.
Sasuke didn’t bother to ask as to where she was going. In a few minutes, she was back with a net full of fish.
Sasuke: Where did you get those?
Vanessa: I got the fish from the river, stupid. If there’s a river, there ought to be fish somewhere.
Sasuke: No, I’m talking about the net. Where did you get those?
Vanessa: It’s my little secret.
She handed Sasuke a fish.
Vanessa: Um, you’re cooking your own fish.
They cooked their fish in silence. Afterwards, Sasuke fell asleep.
Vanessa: Finally that annoying pest fell asleep!
Vanessa got up and went outside. The charka handcuffs extended beyond its normal length. She gazed upon the stars reflecting off the water.
Vanessa: What ever happened to me?
The next morning, Sasuke was pushed awake. Yawning, he rubbed his eyes and got up. He was on a raft.
Vanessa: Good. You’re awake. Now get up and start walking.
Sasuke: Where did the raft come from?
Vanessa: So many questions.
They abandoned the raft and started walking again. Suddenly, Vanessa stopped.
Vanessa: Shhh! …………………On the count of three, we run.
Sasuke: Wait…what?
Vanessa: One…
Sasuke: Wait, what are we doing?
Vanessa: Two…
Sasuke: Explain to me what we are doing!
Vanessa: THREE!!!
